  1. Last 2 caps in GLOPS Ghostfield is pretty stupid, not sure if it was 200iq idea to design them to be so symmetrical yet so open it's super easy to hold both for whoever gets them first or someone was drinking engine oil when deciding cap points 5 and 6 were perfect. I've seen games where a team can come back from behind around a 800pt deficit get lucky with respawn timing there and hold both caps to edge out a win and vice versa where a team had a lead in points but lose it due to failing to take just one of the cap points to stop the bleeding.
  2. It's really a crock of shit that those boxes drop prem tank rentals about equal or more often than actual ZTQ-15 parts. Scummy to the nth degree.
  3. I for one welcome our returning T15 overlords. Not really, haven't played GLOPs yet, but I figure there's already seal clubbing stat-padder platoons running T15 more often now due to it.
  4. Even with the PISH damage nerf for the ATDU, I figure it's still strong assuming you do know where to hit stuff with it. The only time in the game I actually had my tank die from a couple of PISH rounds by killing all the crew members instead of removing tank health was from an enemy ATDU spamming pish, tank was a K2 Black Panther. Though not sure where the guy aimed at specifically, but 2 clean shots killed all my crew.
  5. Removing gambling by any forms is a welcome change. Even if they jacked the price to acquire the Kurganets-25 to say near 100k coins, I'd still (just me, plz don't go this high) consider it a better tradeoff than spending more than 100k coins of lootboxes for it. It'll be interesting to see the prices of how much the Battle Path reward vehicles/tanks will cost.
  6. I think most people's main beef with this lootbox is the assumption that every crate would give at least 1 part for the ZTQ. Instead that part could be replaced by a prem tank rental. So it becomes even more disgusting RNG which makes or breaks people's chances of hoping to get the thing without having to spend a dime. The funny thing is I wonder how they'll rig the purchase lootboxes so that there may be a greater chance to get rentals in place of the parts. It's easy for them to do dishonest work in the name of profit. Will they do it? Hopefully not, but they absolute can if they wanted to.
  7. 77/100 myself, even got a bonus 20 crates instead of a part of a crate. But too many damn rentals told me to go fuck myself and spend money if I want a ZTQ-15.
  8. Yup, basically looks like a poor vehicle for it's tier. Others with the same class/role outdo it and that's not including the terminators. If they decide to remove the bonus damage from HEAT, it'll really be pathetic, but it may be enough to warrant buffing for a tier8.
  9. Seems like it's pretty crappy for tier8 especially with terminators in existence. I remember trying it out on testing grounds as stock thought it seemed average even without being able to use any upgraded modules or choosing a commander for it. Seems to be suited moreso for tier7.
  10. Funny thing to note about that, first iteration of those patch notes DIDN'T say it was only 105mm HESH/PISH, now it does say it's 105mm HESH/PISH. I think they left the 140mm PISH on the Chally 2 ATDU alone, but I'm not entirely certain. I did play a round with it post-patch in GLOPS and seems to perform the same pre-patch but it was only a single game, would have to do more before making a proper judgment.
  11. What would pref matchmaking mean for Tier 9 and 10? FOr 9 does it just mean that the matchmaker would pair it more often with tier 7-9's? And what about 10's?
  12. Been noticing it past few days. I think new patch broke something, have no idea what are the conditions that lead up to it but it's random though usually happens during first 5 minutes of a GLOPS match and can take out several members of both teams, most I saw was probably 8 people on both teams including myself get hit by it. Doesn't really matter what map, but I've seen it happen on Roughneck the most.
  13. When there's no easy solution to fixing GLOPS, you may as well try absurd things and see what sticks. Because inaction isn't leading to anything productive. Your own stats show for a fact it's more popular of a mode than your standard Random Battle PvP mode but is crippled inherently by the nature of people either giving up too easily or getting seal clubbed. Address those issues by whatever absurd means there is. Not just in test server, force it in live but give fair warning - expect a fallout and the sealclubbers/elitists protesting = but fuck em because you already put in the focus with your patches and development ideology to cater to casuals or new players anyway. Complacency won't get you anywhere, you got one game mode which clearly has more active players than the other one because it reaches an approachable middle ground of entertainment for the playerbase without the unforgiving nature of Random Battles or Ranked, and without the boring monotony of PvE. I'm not telling you exactly WHAT to try to implement, just TRY to implement something outlandish to GLOPS even if it gains a negative reaction even if only temporarily. What else do you have to lose?
  14. You know, I never realized that. But you summed up GLOPS PERFECTLY with it. It sucks for the average players like me who play it as a means of a grind without the hyper competitive tryharding of PvP or Ranked, or the monotony of PvE. Wish there would be an effort to rebalance it, but at this point it's not worth the effort. One quick change I'd put in to GLOPS that'd cause a shitstorm but would be entertaining is removal of allowing any platoons to queue for it - force everyone to solo queue. Less things for the matchmaking algorithm to calculate and attempt to work into when forming the two teams.
  15. Ran a game on it in PvE earlier with Quantum_Ranger. I went with the 6 missile capacity ATGMs. Felt fine, nothing really overpowered or broken. May try the pure autocannon another time.
  16. That's what I was afraid of.. Well fuck.
  17. Well that's no good. I wonder if that was their intent, probably will be seeing an influx of CR2 ATDU PISH abuse/spam along with Thermobarics again, seemed like it took them awhile to clamp that down back then too.
  18. Not really a bug, or maybe it is. But during some GLOPS I was in a K2, ate a couple of PISH rounds from a Chally 2 ATDU through the front and something I don't recall seeing in ages happened: All my crew members died while my tank still had HP basically killing me. I'd chalk that up to how weak and vulnerable the K2 is against HEAT and the like, but I can't remember seeing a tank in pve or any pvp mode losing all their crew members like that.
  19. Didn't expect it to launch this soon. Hopefully they took an applied all the feedback of the last PTS, but I still expect a clusterfuck regardless.
  20. Is there an active counter of some sort for this event? I don't recall participating in last year's stuff, but I believe the year before that I remember a calendar that worked like a counter to tell you, that you did the daily objective for the event. Nevermind, I see the event tab. But it does seem like it's cutting it close where only 1 day can be missed, miss more than one and you're SOL on as many as 35 crates.
  21. My guess is probably not. Type 10 while has it's ups and downs is somewhere in between a light tank and MBT could be nerfed as it is strong in general. Hunter AFV seems good though, Pindad is unique, no commander, the other two lower tier MBT rewards I guess have their own schtick but are only relevant for the early grind (neither are terrible, even the tier6 MBT is capable of high DPM). Also with the move to forcing doing the missions while Battle Path only vehicles it's a bit of a kick to the balls for casuals and makes the grind all that much more harder. This is the one BP I felt I had the most buyer's remorse over. I'd trade all the time and money I put into this BP over to the second one with the Object 490 and OPhelia as the rewards instead any day of the week.
  22. I'm in a similar situation as you. I've just spending my excess coins on Hunter Crates mainly for the 2hour BC boosters. Just noticed this is first BP without a commander as one of the rewards too. Guess after Austin Harper the irrelevant commander of The Last Patriot, they decided to not bother with one for this BP.
  23. Yeah I have, as well as some of the feedback posted here. But that's not what I'm talking about, while I appreciate the huge effort rebalance for higher tiers is in progress, I'm talking about the aspect of P2W type premiums (Battle Path tier10's) especially. Altay is probably the least desirable of the four that exist there now funnily enough. Type10 may end up getting nerfed, CATTB got hit with the nerfbat a couple of times, but mainly after enough people got it and it's still at a state to be considered strong and you guys plan to have it purchasable again in the near future. Gotta get that $$$ right? It's too hard for your bosses to allow these types of max tier MBTs to even be put onto a PTS because you'd spoil the surprise of a future Battle Path end reward. But hey, let's ignore game balance, we need that $$$ so we don't go into the red even if it means it screws up the meta for a little bit. Get 10k gold bundles for <$35 USD up every month or two so people will buy it to get preferential matchmaking on vehicles in the 0.33 as well, create a goldsink for better matchmaking, that goes beyond the realm of pay for convenience, that's practically P2W. No, I'm well aware of various things and even though I still enjoy playing this game from time to time, it's sad it's gotten this money hungry. When one commander is more or less the de-facto top choice for 2 out of the 3 game modes for almost every tank and vehicle to use you got a problem. No amount of ass-covering will hide that fact. I'd like to see her get nerfed so her power level of usability is a bit more in line to others (but SS already confirmed they won't touch her). If people are so worried about her being nerfed, then buff other commanders. Why not give Austin Harper a rework (he's irrelevant for the most part) and he was a commander stuck behind a Battle Path grind. Give people reasonable options to choose someone other than OPhelia at so things don't like so messed up in regards to balance for PvP/GLOPS - I really hope that the other commanders, especially the ones that are least played do get another series of buffs or reworks in the near future so they become viable alternatives for OPhelia.
  24. I won't make excuses for them, but I see this type of development ideology in Path of Exile. Some overpowered set of mechanics interacting with certain items becomes available and people exploit the crap out of it leading to a "development manifesto" as Grinding Gear Games likes to call it which is just code for: "We're going to nerf stuff since we didn't expect our playerbase and community to exploit the crap out of it." That would've been noticed if there were more people testing things internally and they had a larger set of players reporting such matters before every 3 or so months when a new league/major content patch drops onto the game. The same can be said here for AW where just about every Battle Path Tier 10 final reward vehicle is more or less some semblance of power creep. I actually regret I didn't fork over the $ to get OPhelia. I'm glad she's finally getting addressed, but even if she doesn't get directly nerfed, she's still made enough money for them to warrant keeping her untouched. I hate the fact game companies do this, release barely tested content that seems invariably overpowered and gate it behind some form of pay mechanics, then nerf it or tone it down after awhile, but still has a clear advantage in power over many other changes equivalent to it's tier.
  25. Out of curiosity, I never really looked into it. But how many 50 cal MG's exist in game? There's obviously the standard 7.62mm, and varying types going to 30mm, 40mm, and even 50. I remember back in the day when the Wiesel had an autocannon that was a 20mm. Either way, giving tanks a 12.7mm to replace their coaxial 7.62mm would be a good damage/offensive boost against things with almost no armor (various recon vehicles). It could be a balancing issue why they won't add that to LeClerc even if it's historically accurate unless they gimp the rate of fire slow enough that it'd be equivalent in DPM to the 7.62mm.
