  1. Very useful to better look at the boobs of the girl in the crapjeep while in garage you wait in queue, as a clean front window is better then one dirty for the purpose. I will give it a try, maybe it can become a better way to use the time that I spend in queue then playing frecell, that is what I usually do. Joke aside thanks for the tutorial, I have mixed feelings about the newly introduced dirt, it is more realistic in battle, but in the garage some tanks and camo don't look good with the effect enabled. I will give it a try.
  2. Agreed, but still to be in a sniper or a fast mobile tank gives you much more options being at the north, you can get to the back of the tanks on that hill in the first phase or drive all to the right and attack the spawning points or the south side snipers that defend the center of the map and you have the high ground to snipe and the fact that there if a team is not much stronger then the other usually each one defends his caps this can turn the tide as kills are more important.
  3. I really have to go to Alabino and learn how to use Thermobaric rounds with the T15, i usually load only the red AGTMs, as are much more reliable and hit for more damage if you don't set fires or ammo rack explosions, but I know how the green ammo can be effective, ie i find that the ADTU even with its slow reload is one of the MBTs with the best damage potential if you know how to use the green ammo, it can easily 2 or 3 shot down most of the other tanks and if you are lucky, and you help the luck with a wise crew specialization and the right commander, one shot some tank quite often. Also to use the armor inspector to learn where the ammo racks and fuel tanks are is really important, I am very glad that now it shows them, before you had to learn them trying or ask to some more experienced friend about, now you can focus on a couple of tanks, learn their spots and practice in Alabino. Hopefully I will be able to do my weekly mission where i have to destroy 5 PvE and GLOPS tanks by fire or ammo rack explosion as I don't really want to buy it for gold or rig a mission with a full platoon. About switching to AP i also like to have some AP rounds for the AS21 auto cannon, usually I shot the green ammo, but PL01 and Anders are almost immune at it if you don't have shots to the front or the back, switching to AP you can penetrate them without any problem, so i go to the mission with at least 100 AP rounds loaded: At a different level of finesse this is also true for the Ramka and HE, there are situations where you can not do damage with AP or anyway AP does less damage then HE.
  4. Very good hints. I would say that is very useful also to defend the caps, as it can happens that the party caps then everybody goes away and the enemies come and cap it themselves very easily. So if you cap you should in many situations defend what you have just got, in a squishy fast vehicle it does probably mean to find a position near by where you can spot the enemies as they approach and if you can snipe at the cap to defend it yourself even better, in a MBT possibly it does not mean to sit in it, but to find a good position that let you defend it while you are hull down. To cap is the way to win, but only if then you are able to defend those caps. Also tanks that can spot and carry a mortar squad have great potential in defending the cap as the indirect fire of the mortar does not do big damage, the AT squad is much more damaging, but if you are able to spot it can do indirect shots that will not kill fast the enemy tanks but at least delay him from capping, even if he is completely hulldown and you can not do him damage yourself.
  5. Narrows is much better if you spawn on the north side and play a sniper tank or a fast one that can go at the back of the enemy lines as you are on high ground and have much better options, to play this kind of tanks spawning south is doable, but not so easy. Playing MBTs is much more balanced as you don't have really advantages spawning north or south and most of the caps are well protected against sniping.
  6. For a novice player that is grinding trough the low and medium tiers to go to GLOPS or the other PvP mode brings some problems. He has to fight against humans and not stupid AI driven bots, some of those players are more experienced then him, most of them already have high level commanders and possibly some very good premium one, like Cortez for maxed damage, O Connell for superior camo or Ophelia that allows suicide tactics that seems that the present GLOPS meta rewards, as i see them so often. They also can have full grind tanks with lev 4 or 5 crew and possibly high level retrofits. Our hypothetical grinding noob friend will have many disadvantages to deal with, further on if in PvE the team will win probably 90% of the missions if not more in PvP, no matter how you are good, you will sit on something like a 50% win rate, if you are good a little more, if you are not a little less, but the time of the skirmish mode, that gave to 3 people in platoon the chance to farm easily wins is long time ended (and I am very happy of that). It is true that in GLOPS to win and do well is very rewarding, but you win less and not all the players are over the average, so I am not so convinced that the suggestion is useful for everybody, it greatly depends on how a particular player is really willing to learn how to play and gifted at it, then he can probably overcame the other disadvantages with a good playing and be well rewarded the 50% of the matches he wins. But your suggestion IMO is very good for an other reason, playing PvP you will suffer more, a lot more at the beginning when you are still learning, but you learn much faster and much more. I would say that the better mode to play to really improve is Random Battle, and if you have the luck to play against strong players and are smart enough to play near the good players of your party you learn a lot, GLOPS is a lot more forgiving as you can respawn, but you learn less, still learn how to fight, both tactically, reading the minimap and reacting to how the battle is going and how to act in close combat, when you face an other MBT, when you are flanked and circled by a very mobile enemy or when you have the mobile tank and do the trick yourself. In PvE the point is to understand how a program works, what the bots are scripted to do and when and where they will spawn, then, once you have learned how to play a particular mission you are almost set up to go, and you will improve much slower then in the PvP modes. So I think that the suggestion to play GLOPS as soon as possible, if you are lucky to live in a place that make possible (time zones and ping problems), to do it you will certainly become a better player doing it and eventually you will also be rewarded if you manage to become an over the average player, one that when the party wins sits on the high side of the ranking in spite that he is probably playing a tank without retros, with a low level commander and a tank that you are still grinding, so not full upgrade and with a low level crew. Even if you don't manage to become so good your PvE playing will anyway get much better, as you had been forced to actually use your brain and polish your skills, so you will any way be more rewarded in it. EDIT: if the new player has a good, GLOPS wise, T8 premium tank it is surely very good to play GLOPS as soon as possible, even using it to play only PvE speeds so much the grind of the commanders and makes getting credits not an issue for all the low part of the grind, but the money, commander XP and reputation he can get in GLOPS are much superior, as well as the rewards for the Special Operations. Having a T9 or 10 tank that can play Heroic and being in a battalion as there the rewards are massive and every Heroic run is a big improvement in the commander xp and in your credits income, and you can do it every 3 days, even if it counts for the battalion contract only once a week, but to get a T9-10 tank means to participate to the box lottery or to buy the gold to get the T40, in both the cases we are beyond the scope of this whole thread, while a good T8 costs a lot less and potentially can be the only real money a player has to invest in the game, while still making the first part of the grind a lot faster and less painful, with enough credits to buy the progression tanks, to equip them with some retros and some reputation to spend at the beginning of the grind of each tank, ie to unlock fast HEAT and so boost the damage that tank can do.
  7. I am already an happy member of the DUDS battalion so I will not join you, but if some LABS see me in the game or wants to ask me for friendship I will be glad to accept it and/or platoon with you. My in game name is BumbaX.
  8. Exhibit B: because one is small and the other is big? Nope, as the Wiesel that is even smaller then the T249 is a TD... it is completely arbitrary. About the T15, that in RL is an IFV, in the game if not an AFV it should have been probably a LT, even if is really heavy, as its best role is as flanker right behind the MBTs, certainly not sniping from far away, and that in the game should be the role that the LT class has, even if in RL the role of the LT is to be a tank that costs way less then a proper MBT and that can be transported by an airplane, while moving the heavy MBTs from one part of the world to an other is a very complex and slow logistic task. In the Obsidian age we had a clear role for every class, and only very few tanks that as was not covering any of those roles was included in some class, as in the game tanks without a class can not exist. And more or less every tank of a certain class had some common special abilities, ie almost all the AFVs could designate targets. In the modern age there is much more confusion and overlapping of the roles, with many AFVs that share other abilities with some other classes, but can not designate, while some MBTs can designate, thing that should be a perk of the spotters, not of the heavy armored front liners.
  9. I just played this mission, even if i am by far the one that did less damage (afk guy excluded obviously) I was at the end the most useful player in the mission, and I was well rewarded for it, as I spotted almost everything letting my team win easily even if we played in 4 and we had the only MBT that did not dare to go to spot, so I had to move myself to do it. He also managed to "team kill" me once as he went right to my back, too close, ruining my camo, I had Erin as commander, so as I was spotted I did not last but a split second, I was spotting 5 or 6 tanks and they all fired at me in the same time I know that we all want to do huge amount of damage with big guns , but to be able to spot is sometimes way better, both for the mission success and for the reward that you get.
  10. To lack of a clip means that you can chose the right ammo for the tank you are going to face, the gun is at least decent, the only issue is the AP penetration against well armored enemies if you are down tier, but the HEAT damage is really good as it reloads fast, the camo is good. True it is not maneuverable, it has speed, but not acceleration and is wheeled, so can not turn without moving around, but is a TD, not a LT, and i am quite happy if the tanks are what they should be according to their class, ie i like the Sprout, but to me it feels more like a LT with an accurate gun then a proper TD and i don't like to have MBTs that have to be played like LT, TDs like the Wiesel that was perfect when they was AFV and even now feel a lot more AFVish then proper TD. Right now in the TD class we have vehicles like the Type 16 or the T10 wilk, good gun and camo, sigle shoot and fast reload, fast but not maneuverable, the Draco, similar but with an impressive burst damage, tanks like the Wiesels, long reload, camo and very maneuverable, AGTM based, and the Ramka line, no camo and impressive dpm. The TD class lacks of an identity, everything can fit in it or don't fit, only depending on a very arbitrary decision of the developers, at least the Type 16 is faithful to what the TD class used to be a long time ago, a good gun that can snipe and give support fire to the frontliners, with enough camo to rely on it and not on armor to survive and fast enough to relocate as the battle evolves. I like that concept, that way to be a TD, that is probably the reason why i like so much the Type 16 and i feel a little sad that i completed its grind so now I play it less frequently, even if I still play it as my main goal is to have fun playing, not necessarily to grind fast.
  11. Yes, you can sell your view retros for 75% of the price and my original suggestion is to do it as soon as you have ended the grind of a tank (but not the crew one that takes usually longer) and you have the money to buy the next tank in the line. This way you can equip the new tank with them at the 25% of their cost. Then when Dima will be rich and will not be so desperately in need of credits you can buy back them, but anyway to grind crews is an issue that comes later, at the beginning to push at least a line to the high tiers and to progress in the other ones are things way more important. IMO the 3rd retro that can speed up the grind is the gun breach, i find it more useful then the mobility ones. When i was in the initial part of my grind i never sold retros, that at the time had a tier related cost, and I never sold tanks after grinding them and unlocking the next one. Then I did the reset, at that time I had only a couple of T10 and a bunch of T9, and thanks to the reset i could buy some new T10 that before was unlocked without me having enough money to buy them. I also played a lot of time without any retro, prioritizing the purchase of new tanks and of their upgrades, then i slowly begun to equip the high tier ones with retros. The reset was for me a very big help as not only i had a lot of credits to spend, but also a lot of reputation to invest in unlocking new tanks. Probably I should had better sold some tanks that i did not really like and i should have at least equip the tanks of the new lines i was grinding with some retros, to sell them and buy them for the next tank. I hate to sell something that I know that in the future I will any way buy again, loosing money, but seeing me now, sitting on more then a billion credits that I don't know how to use probably to loose some money selling things with the plan to buying them back loosing 25% of their value would had been better as i could had reached the point where credits are no more an issue sooner. I think that for who is at the beginning of the grind the next more important thing beyond credits is the reputation management. I suggest to avoid completely to use it for the commanders, and to use it mainly to speed the unlocking of the HEAT rounds when possible, as HEAT use increases so much your damage output. At least if the player plays mainly PvE and at tiers where most of the tanks are not well armored against HEAT (even if also at high tiers, knowing how to use them, are very effective). By the way i find myself positing a lot on this thread, probably the reason is not so much to help you, as you have all the experience needed to make your choices on your own but because I believe that to read this thread can really be a lot helpful for who is really at the beginning of the grind of his main account and lacks of an huge amount of real money to invest in the game. Even with the daily login bonuses and buying premium time the grind is very long and some good choices like to buy soon a good T8 premium instead of lower tiers bundles with some insigna and boost, to grind credits and reputation, as well as the right use of the credits and reputation you have can really make the grind less painful.
  12. Please no! And i tell it only because so often it happened before that cosmetic changes like the changes in the GUI or sounds had introduced bugs that affected the game play, some of them needed quite a long time to be fixed. Never touch what is working, there is the risk to break it, even more if the AW developers are the ones that touch it... By the way yes, the sound in that video is awesome and the one in our game... not so much. And i would be happy also if some minor fixes to the sound would be done, the main one is about the sound if your own tank has been hit, the sound of both firing your weapons and getting HEAT explosions or AP shells hitting your armor should be the loudest sounds that you hear, while sometimes you can get a whole AGTM salvo by a T15 without any acoustic clue of it happening, while i swear that i could hit the sound of my AP shell hitting the enemy tank when i got the Long Shot achievement, so the enemy tank was at least 800m far. An example of how every change in this game seems to introduce bugs or strange behaviors is how lately i hear so often my crew screaming that an arty hit is coming even when there are not arty or enemy infantry mortars at all in the game. What your crew tells and the sound of what happens to your tank should not only be cosmetic, giving you a better immersion in a game that anyway has nothing to do with a proper tank simulator, is a completely different thing, they should also give to you useful information on what is happening. If they are misleading, like the warning of arty incoming when there is no arty, not reliable, like the crew only sometimes telling you that something happens, like your ammo been loaded or an enemy been spotted, then i would prefer that the sounds would be fixed to make then more useful then more realistic.
  13. Probably for the static view optic the v1 is enough as it is 50m instead of 70, 80m instead of 100 stacked with the one that works also on the move. And 300K credits instead of 1.2M is a big difference for who is grinding low tiers, even with premium time, but further more without it. the v1 and v2 configuration needs 1.5M credits to be started, that is a lot of money, But less then a single T5 tank, and the cost to transfer the retros to the next higher tier tank of the line that is pushed, the "money earner", is only little more then 350K credits, with 10k credits more each mission is only 35 missions, then you begin to gain money. What should be noticed in the experiment is that if @Haswell has decided to don't use some free features of the game, like the daily login bonuses, at now the whole experiment has been done in an exceptional moment when we have an almost permanent bonus on credits, while the generic Joe that wants to grind without paying in this game, even using the daily bonuses has not that big advantage in normal times. I remember so well how in the now closed official forums I used to read so often people telling that to grind in this game is so fast, too fast, bragging about how they could grind a tank or farm credits in so fast. They was forgetting that they was sitting on stockpiled high amounts of free insigna, boosts and preimium time, and maybe that they had also many T7+ premium tanks in the garage. If i told in the thread about the Starter Packs that the best RL money investment for a new player that wants to speed his grind is to spend the money in the better medium tier premium tank he can afford, at least T7, if possible T8 (if Marder or Termi even better). That tank, even without premium time, but playing only it in the free premium day of the week is even better, can print for you the money to buy and equip the lower tier tanks in no time. Looking at my saved screenshots a good Marder game on Stormy Winter, that has an average multiplier, without any special credit multiplier gave me 184K credits, that would had been 387K if i would had run premium time, as I probably played very aggressively and i had to respawn a couple of times. In that game i did more then 50% of the total damage, it was 44K, but also got 25/36 spots and more then the 30% of the total spotting damage, that is a monster percentage if you factor in that I was doing more then 50% of the total damage, so I, and my infantry, that did 14K of my 44K damage, was "stealing"" a lot of spotting damage from myself. And as I am far from being an unicorn I think that similar results can be obtained by many, I probably took the screenshot as I had an unusually high damage from the infantry, not because is was a super game for other reasons. So with a Marder or premium Termi to buy the T-72 needs only to play less then 15 matches in a premium day and less then 30 in a regular one. Please don't give up with the experiment, maybe you can start to get the daily login bonuses and try as a new player that wants really to grind trough the game, but lacks of the RL money to do it (as maybe is a student in a country that is not particularly rich, where the price of a T8 premium is not the equivalent of an evening with the friends eating pizza and then going in some disco, but is the money some people has to feed the family for the whole month). Those that don't spend money and also don't care about the daily login probably only do a touch an go with this game as they realize that grinding will be a many years lasting pain in the arse for a casual player that plays only few time and maybe not daily. I had an in game friend from Argentina that was a pretty good player, and he was grinding trough the T8 tanks, we meet in the game and for some time played together often, and he was not spending RL money in the game. He told me many times in the platoon chat how he was annoyed by the too long grinding time and suddenly a day disappeared from the game. The very same player invited also me to the second group some times ago, i did not take the screenshot as well as the one of what he had written inside the chat. If he will do it again i will surely take the screenshots and report him, and i invite you to do the same. I don't know if it will help, there is surely enough to have him permanently banned, as he is spamming those things, but as probably it is only a secondary account he will probably just open an other one and continue.
  14. With the Improved load Conveyor it has almost 600 more sustained damage, so for PvE it is what I use, I had try both and seems the choice that works better for me. For Glops it depends on your own style, the commander you use and the ammo you use, if you use HEP 4 shots should ammo rack almost everything if you know where to aim, using Sabrina probably only 2 or 3 shots are needed even if the enemy has more ammo rack HP for the commander he is using, but it is true only flanking at short or medium distance as the min spread is not fantastic, if you fight at longer distances AP is less damaging, but more reliable, so to have 6 shots is probably better.
  15. Well about premium time imagine a person that opens 6 different secondary accounts and logs in daily with all them, factoring also the main account he gets 7 free premium days/week, that he can trade between the secondary accounts and the main one. It is basically permanent free premium time. The same is true for the boosts and insigna that you can find in the 2 boxes we get for free every week and for the bonuses that are event related, right now every account had 2 14 free premium time tokens, multiply it by 6 and is an other 3 full months of premium time, that can be given to the main account. If i don't see the reason why it is not possible to trade in the battalions the parts of tanks that we had before trading was introduced while we can do it with parts of the same tank that we get after, i see the reason why it is not possible to trade with every other player everything, including boosts and premium time, that are things that the publisher sells for real money.
  16. Mission impossible: do the ELITE PVE MISSION with the GAU each time you kill a bot you probably loose 100K points for the bullets that are already flying... Those are very crap missions, even if probably it is far from impossible to rig some of them with a good platoon, to remain all alive and to have a T10 tank do 40K damage should not be a real problem if it is the platoon main goal, pick the right mission, shoot only for full damage, possibly also for fires and ammo rack explosions and a lot of tanks have plenty of dpm to do it and can use it as long as someone in the platoon with well armored tanks draw the bots attention and if possible make them or their turrets turn in a way that exposes them to the one that has to farm the damage. But yep, very crap missions imo, i can not see any fun in playing them, to plan a Spec Op achievement in a full platoon can be fun, as you have to do it once, here you have to do all the missions 5 times to let all the platoon mates get their goals in a very repetitive way as you are doing almost the same thing every goal, with the only difference that a Sphinx, a k21 or an other tank is the one that has to farm the damage, depending on the task requirement. This evening I will do the 4rth chapter with my battalion mates so I will unlock the Raid, but I doubt that I will put any effort in it, I see no fun in doing it and I can live without that camo and other rewards...
  17. Afaik the moderators of the Discord channel do it as not payed volunteers, if My.games give them something for free, let's say some free premium tank or the possibility to trade on myloot i would not call it double standard, but a way to reward people that use their time to give a service that all the players community benefit of. Years ago I had been moderator in some, not gaming related, forums and I assure you that it is a task that takes a lot of time and effort, I had to read whole threads i did absolutely was not interested about, and on and over. The discord moderators can not play as freely as us as they have also to constantly read the new posts and can probably throw in some mission or battle in between when they are on duty to monitor what happens on the discord channel, and this means also that they are less free to platoon with other people as their discord duties would slow all the platoon. Did you notice that when you meet them in the game so often they are alone and not in a platoon, did you ask yourself why?
  18. "Being blind is awful. View range is important not only for gameplay, but also for payouts because of all the spotting damage you could do." I already suggested you to buy the binoculars retro and as soon as you can afford it the v2 version. I know that 1.2M credits is a lot with the low tier rewards, but once you do it the cost of passing it to a new tank as you get to it is only 0.3M as you can sell it for 75% of its value and buy it for the tank you begin to grind/use as money maker. Given the number of battles it needs to get the credits to buy the next tank if you don't use premium time, and it will be more then 50% longer when the credit income bonus will not be there as the fixed costs, like the respawn one, cut part of the income, on the long run I am convinced that you will grind faster credits and xp. In the screenshot you show us i see only 6 spots and 1.7K spotting damage, with it you could have gotten much more, you can not compete vs a dakadaka with the T72 as damage done, but it is not difficult at all to get a big share of spots and spotting damage, sometimes i even rank better then them with my MBTs or low potential damage tanks only because i have that 30 more meters of view range, not vs the ones driven by good players, but a lot of crap ones get good results with them. Even in the worst case in that mission you would have probably ranked in the middle, also because you have to be less over cautious if you at least can spot who fires at you, getting about 20% more credits. Do yourself the math, but remember that my suggestions are based on personal experience as i still remember so well when i was grinding trough the low tiers, sometimes without premium time and even now, that i have only to grind some crew of tanks that anyway i don't like much at those tiers and I have more of one year of free premium time to activate sometimes i like to play those tiers only for fun, cause i am bored to play always high tiers, and sometimes I don't activate the premium time when I don't need to really grind something as all the commanders i care of are colonels and i have plenty of credits and enough reputation, so i perfectly see the difference between the low tier tanks with or without binoculars. Thing that you can easily check by yourself using your main account, buy the binoculars for the T72, if you don't already have it, play twice 3 different missions then unequip it and repeat the same missions, then compare the results, and also and mainly compare the fun you have with it with the constant stress of being blind. We often forget the the main reason we play (but very few professional players that earn a living playing and probably play other games and not AW) is to have fun, not to grind or the pride of being the best ones, pride of which nobody cares in not a bunch of other very competitive players, it is not like winning a gold medal in the Olympic games...
  19. I thank you for providing this useful service. As my internet connection is quite crap as bandwidth I have problems to run the game and your steam at the same time, so i have to go to your stream, take a screenshot, save it with paint and the name rotations.jpg, thing that overwrite the one from the previous day and then use that screenshot to know which will be the next missions knowing from the game which is the one running. As i saved also a screenshot from the forums page with the maps and multipliers that i have named maps is very fast from me to open both the jpg files and the game then alt-tab between them. I hope it can help those that have problems in running the stream and the game at the same time.
  20. Even if I see the reasons about killing assholes I see a lot of danger in allowing team killing them in GLOPS without any consequence. In the RL situation you talk about, but in the first WW i believe that this was true for almost all the armies, maybe without having a dedicated detachment for it, but you had to strictly follow some orders attacking the enemy trench with a high chance of being killed, the only thing that could make the people move their asses was a stomach filled with alcohol and a gun pointed at the back, i think that you get the idea of the situation. It was a quite binary situation where you was attacking or you was a coward and a traitor so the soldier that was pointing the gun at your back could be at the same time your judge and your executioner. In GLOPS the situation is completely different as every player is free to use the tactic he choose, to decide to risk more or less, and granting that right would give to the assholes a weapon more. Right now there is people that comes at your back with an MBT denying you the chance to go back under cover after firing and while you are reloading or have been spotted, if they don't even push you deliberately out of the cover with their tank that weight 2 times yours having you killed by the enemy, that maybe don't even spot you, but spot him behind you as he has no camo. Right now there is people that fire at you because their concept of you being an asshole is quite personal and debatable, Maybe you are so in their view because in the previous match you was in the enemy team and killed them 3 times in a row, or because you drive a faster tank and you went to cap a bombing run "stealing" it to them, or because they just have fun in grieving people and for an automated ban system all those reasons are as good as yours, @Lenticulas, even if probably you team kill for very different ones. An other issue where team killing can happen beyond the willing to do it is when an ammo rack explosion happens, as it has some splash damage and is perfectly possible that triggering it in an enemy you kill with the splash a friendly that is near by and enough low health to die. I also agree that being kicked from the battle punish your own team, not yourself, further more if you can go in queue immediately with an other tank. I think that the right solution for GLOPS is to have the team killer marked but not kicked out of the match, if a player gets marked a certain number of times in the day or in a certain time then starts an automatic ban, first time of some hours, then days or even weeks if it happens way too frequently. This and filing reports that are manually checked by the game assistance people, in which you include the recording of the game and a description of the reason why the other player was an asshole (he rammed me out of my sniping position to occupy it himself having me killed by the enemy, he was deliberately shooting at me or other friendly, he was shooting at me to reset my counter to capture himself something and so on), followed by a ban that could last even more then the one from the automated system, as an human can better judge if something is intentional and/or serious, should go together with the automated system. Only being certain to have serious consequences like being denied to play the game for the evening, for some days or even for some weeks, can make some people stop to act as assholes, surely not being kicked from the battle, as well to be team killed but a self entitled judge works even less, as the only result is to respawn and keep being asshole, if someone wants to be so, if it is the way he has fun playing. I think also that the splash damage and the bombing damage should not be used by the automated system as are something that can be not intentional or even tactically worth it, at least one time i had granted the victory of my team in a situation where both teams could win and had very few points left with a bombing that team killed a team mate.
  21. I gave it a try, it seems that now with a 3 shots salvo you can kill a bradley and designating it also something with more health. If it does not deal a damage comparable to the one the Heath of the CATTB, Leo or Abrams do it is perfectly fine, about as good if not better then the T14s HEAT and surely better then the Chinese or Israeli ones.
  22. Wow, most of those missions seem to be the kind that I personally hate to do, as lead to a not natural way of playing, you don't have to play for winning, but have to play in a very selfish way, maybe avoiding to shot at enemies that possibly you can penetrate to focus only on the ones that you will surely penetrate or avoiding to shot at the low health ones as someone can kill them before you as you have some accuracy requirement, even if we don't talk of pillboxes or infantry. I will probably don't loose much my time with it as it does not seems something i can have fun playing. I hated myself enough the few times i forced myself to play in a not natural way in the last battle path, but then i had to try to get my only T10 premium, as for personal reasons i could not get to the end of the previous ones. But for a camo and some minor goodies, no thank you!
  23. Yep, the bombings are a big problem, not only because some friendly guy not only does not manage to get outside its range, but sometimes drives right into it while the bombing area is already visible to all the friendly on the minimap. Also there are some situations where it is tactically correct to drop a bombing run in an area where there is also a friendly, let's say that he is already at low health and surrounded by many enemy tanks that would kill him any way very fast, and then can cap. Probably to kill the teammate and do huge damage to the enemies, so other friendly can defend the cap that other way would be lost is the right thing to do, and possibly you can not wait that the enemies kill that friendly as more friendly are going to approach, better to kill a team mate that is already going to die then waste the run on a less important area. The only thing i disagree with @Lenticulas is to kill a team mate that is deliberately parking behind people, then the proper way is to file a report with some screenshots and the game recording, then there is a chance that the guy will be even banned. Killing him you will only have him respawn and keep doing the thing, some do it intentionally to grief people (and recently i had a guy trying to ram me out from a bombing cap to take it himself, we must live with idiots and too selfish players), others are cowards that hope to use other people as armor hoping to drop some shot without risk, but in both cases i doubt that receiving some friendly shots or a friendly kill they will change their attitude.
  24. So now the powerful machine gun can pen both the Bradley, but only in the back, and the Chally 2, but only frontally! WOW , there is genius in how the game is developed, as i doubt that it is a bug, some one had to set the protection value of that weak spot, the threshold value of penetration needed to don't bounce firing at it...
  25. As the meta of the game changes so quickly i think that many old guides are now obsolete, I remember a time when some content creators made some very useful guides about the PvE missions, missions that are now completely different as different bots spawn from different points, they use different scripts if the mission has not been completely redone in a different way. This is somehow true for the PvP guides, the main principles, work together with your party, reacting to what they do, use the minimap and be aware of the whole battle-mission, not only focused on the tank you are firing at and so on remain true, but every more specific guide has to be recent to work. This also because the introduction of new commanders and tanks and mainly the merging of the servers changed a lot the way we play, I played on the EU server and when we begun to play together with the Russian players, that had a very different style, less tactical, but more aggressive, the way we play the battles changed, even a Random Battle on a map that is the same of 2 or 3 years ago is now played in a different way as the way we play the game has evolved.
