Just a note on "this is already modeled" things like Object 195 and the other old vehicle models that got leaked ages ago (there was Object 172M-2 IIRC, XM723 etc.) These vehicles have generally bad models and have to be overhauled from scratch, which is pretty much like making a new model from scratch. Their chance of appearance is therefore the same as for any other vehicle. Sometimes actually lower, because they already got leaked and the surprise was therefore kinda spoiled (we have like 10 such models that we are certain will not appear in 2020/2021 for example, IIRC all 2021 vehicles will be new). In some cases, using older models as a basis does represent some savings but more often it does not.

So if I understand your feedback correctly: under the current circumstances, the event made no sense because of long waiting times. Got it. But imagine if the waiting times were instant. 1) Would something like that be fun, such playthroughs? 2) Or would it be something you'd do just for the rewards? 3) If the rewards were the same, would you rather play (current) standard PvE or (current) Spec Ops?

Yes, it wasn't a good idea. I overestimated the impact of the contest, the CCU effect and the interest in this in general.

Honestly? I don't think so. Russian is pretty much mandatory. We tried this actually, for the K2 Black Panther patch, with Flavio and a few other guys. They wrote extensive reports, which in turn got either partially ignored or the stuff/bugs in them didn't get fixed, everyone got pissed... fun stuff. That really, REALLY didn't help.

HE changes were intended for the initial 0.33 rebalance too originally, but we didn't get them to work on time. Right now they are being tested I think (as in, several variants, not PTS level), so maybe nothing will come of it.

We will introduce some fixes to them, thanks for pointing them out. Otherwise their quality is good. But for god's sake, we heard you the first million times. Do you think posting such stuff will make us take you more seriously or just ignore you? Not a bad comparison actually.

Damn, you sure have amazing insight into our operations. Oh wait, RU forum was closed a long time ago, like June? Had nothing to do with budget, or 0.33, this was discussed as early as January. And My.Games isn't really operating AW either, it's a publishing platform. The game doesn't even belong to My.com. And we didn't lose players (in actual numbers, counting in new players, just to avoid "muh friend stopped playing becoz 0.33!!!1111"). I am not saying we never fucked up anything but come on, how can you be a part of a core community forum and understand this little?

Simple. This was the original intention but it slipped through the cracks when the plans were drafted. Happens when a few people deal with a lot of things. Ironically, you should be happy - most funding goes to the actual development of the game, not a massively bloated operator infrastructure some other companies have, or lavish corporate parties.

Well, the marketing intention behind this event is obvious. You do have a chance to get the vehicle from it or you can wait and then buy the remaining crates for money when they are available to get the vehicle. Not exactly the most subtle or cunning plan. -

Honestly, this is way beyond my paygrade, I am not a programmer. So when a developer tells me it's a massive pain in the ass in CryEngine, I have no choice but to believe this to be true. On the other hand, I know for a fact that CryEngine is really hard to work with, I've seen some snippets of codes with examples that made me facepalm. So who knows. -

You mean this one? This was not really a skin, rather a separate Sabre vehicle made for an intended cooperation with Razer back in 2016 or so. Since the cooperation never happened, the vehicle was scrapped and removed (we aren't authorized to use Razer's logos ofc)
