Upd. 31.01.2023 - In addition to the sound effects of the environment on some maps added the sounds of combat; - Adjusting the volume of some ambience effects; - The folder with the sounds of surfaces has been returned to the mod. Previously, it was mistakenly removed when optimizing the mod; - Fixed a bug with ship fire sounds on some PVP maps. Good day everyone! It's been a long time since the last update of the mod. During this time I have done a fairly large and voluminous work on it. If initially my goal was to improve the sounds of vehicles and shooting, then my latest updates have already begun to concern the environment and what happens around the player in battle. All this work was carried out in order for the player to be more immersed in the gameplay and enjoy what is happening on the screen to the fullest. It will be very difficult to list the full list of changes, but in short, at the moment: - Reworked a large number of environmental effects, including destruction effects; - Updated shooting sounds; - New interface sounds (such as acceleration, ammo replenishment in PVE and many others); - Updated player hit sounds; - Reworked vehicle movement sounds. Updated sound of the diesel engine in the first and third person. And many many others. Below you can see all the changes in the demo videos. Please note that now the unpacking has changed somewhat (this was done for greater convenience). The first file includes all the main sound archives for the mod to work. The second file with the postscript "alternative" includes only other sounds of shooting (the effects of the environment, engines, etc. are not in this archive). Version realistic (Major Version. Install first): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uUAfmVQuMRGlC9m4dLO4o113w-9DKirD/view?usp=share_link Version realistic alternate. Shooting and reloading sounds that are used as an alternative in the mod since version 1.6 (Install over the main version): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1td2C1Cdz1oy_ci75I2LXGPlKbuqQ0D4s/view?usp=shakre_lin Version realistic alternate. The sounds of shooting and reloading that were used in the mod before version 1.5 (Install over the main version): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q_uh5L1_CPVchifpfqNcduAiKEuc8JzX/view?usp=share_link New diesel engine sounds ver. 1.6 (Install over the main version): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_VwELNEaS06Y1iKo6JGm03L99x77-Ah5/view?usp=share_link Alternate player detection alert sound (Install over the main version): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rPJ1tCcRC0DVTRqRmNxyEfxBLvO7IMgi/view?usp=share_link If you wish, you can use my sound files in your mod, but with a link to the author. As a fan of realism, I also recommend installing: More presentation videos:

Armored Warfare Revisited is a weapon sound mod merging the sounds from my older mod - Vadim's weapon sound mod, with old sounds Armored Warfare used to have all those years ago in the Obsidian era. You can download the mod here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wXcLLk4iYoNFYOZU5WNOjBaqVZZY3DYW/view?usp=sharing Installation: throw the contents of the zip into your localization folder, so it looks like this: If you use steam it should look something like Armored Warfare/some random numbers/Armored Warfare/localization... The mod changes every weapon system's sound in the game. You can check out how exactly it changes stuff in the video below: 3. 12. New rotary sounds: Update on 2nd of December changes 140+ mm gun sounds. No video because tired and lazy Update 1.1 adds new sounds for low caliber autocannons:

Changes the "spotted" sound effect, the sound when you spot enemies, and the sound of abilities. That is all. Update 1206: I added respawn, ressuply, objective lost, objective captured and map ping sounds. This is not a serious mod, in case the preview didn't give it away.. Download the zip and put the "interface" folder into your localization/your game's language/sounds PREVIEW Download link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ddm1_Wigwg2lVWVP5j9uWoC4TlQ3kwCQ/view?usp=sharing

Mod changes the sound of all the weapons in the game, except the Shilkas. This includes main guns, autocannons, machine guns and ATGMs. The ATGM sounds were taken from TobiichiOrigamis sound mod, as I was too lazy to deal with the ATGM soundfile shennanigans. and the external rotary cannon sounds were taken from Artos mod. It also changes out the sounds for all three infantry dismounts, highly recommended with Arto's infantry dialogue mod The sounds used come from War Thunder, Squad, DCS and Gunner Heat PC. Installation: just throw the three fsb files into the correct folder, if needed create them. You can download the mod here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c7yAa63W7fWVxpw26f8eL3N_L8u2xCND/view?usp=sharing The 22nd of August update brings with it some tweaks and new sounds, you can check them out in the video below. Quick tip: This mod only changes the weapon sounds, which means, if you like the extra sounds of Voice of War, but prefer these weapon sounds, you can install Voice of War first, then this mod, overwriting the files in /weapons to get these weapon sounds, while keeping the various engine, UI etc. sounds of Voice of War. Preview for most of the sounds in the mod, with timestamps to make it easier to click through: The first video is a showcase of the sounds added on the 22nd of August. The second video is older - to explain any sound differences Engine mod mentioned in the second video: Infantry voice lines mod: Voice of war:

This is not my work, it's part of PanzerSofa's sound overhaul! A while ago now PanzerSofa released a very comprehensive sound mod, called Voice of War, for Armored Warfare, that changed most sounds in the game. The overall mod pack was very mixed, with some sounds being fantastic and others quite awful. It also changed crew voices to Russian, which is pretty much useless for non-Russian members of the community. So I have decided to take the engine sounds and post them here separately, where they can be used to complement other sound mods, such as my Weapon mod, or Artos mechanized infantry voices mod. Again, this is not my work, I'm not claiming any ownership of these, it's just a small part of PanzerSofas's mod I've been personally using, and thought the rest of you guys might also like. It changes the sounds for diesel engines (and maybe hybrid engines, I haven't checked), the turbine engines are left unaffected. Link to the Engine sounds: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ocdn4lgk62ticf4/Engine_sounds.7z/file Installation: throw the vehicles folder into the sounds folder, like so. Link to PanzerSofa's mod: https://vk.com/panzer_sofa?w=wall-102237486_280585 Links to other mods mentioned: my weapon sound mod: https://armoredlabs.net/index.php?/topic/48729-vadims-weapon-sounds-mod/ and Arto's CoH2 infantry VO mod: https://armoredlabs.net/index.php?/topic/48502-company-of-heroes-2-voicelines-for-infantry/

An overhaul for all in-game autocannon sounds (all three of them!) using modified War Thunder sounds. Included are small caliber autocannons (20-35mm), large caliber autocannons (50-57mm) and rotary gun (GAU-8 and T249), including both external and internal sounds as well as a mechanical spool sound for the rotary.

I know im not the first one to think or talk about it. But this always makes me wonder what is necessary or if we need to wait a few more months or years to get new sounds to the game. a lot of people talk that "we need better graphics" but they forget that a good sound effect is basically 50% of a game. i`ve been playing this game have 5 years, and i never really saw a major change in that part, i wonder if its the graphics engine that have its limits making impossible to create realistic effects of Engine sound,Gun sound, shell bounce, i know it takes time and a lot of effort to do that but in 5 years, there is really no "Team" to work only for that? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huEQIlxlIo4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqZunPq-i2s
