  1. I got the parts I ordered. So first thing I tried was to install the new psu, but no response at all. It didnt even light up the motherboard, like the old one did. But i decided not to mess arround anymore with the problem. And installed the new parts. Going to send the old parts in for service and see if some of them are still working. Im so far very satified with the new setup compared to the price i payed for it. AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Socket-AM4, 6-Core, 12-Thread, 3.6/4.2GHz, 65W, 7nm, ex. kjΓΈler ASUS ROG Strix B450-F GAMING, Socket-AM4 Hovedkort, ATX, B450, DDR4, 2x PCIe-x16, 2x M.2, USB 3.1, SupremeFX, Aura Sync, Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz 16GB 2x8GB, DDR4, 2666MHz, CL16, XMP 2.0, Sort,
  2. I guess I will know more tomorrow, a new psu is on its way.
  3. I moved my main pc, hooked it all up and during the windows startup, the power supply cord fell out of the wall socket. Sparks flying at the wall socket. And ofcourse it will not turn on again. However when I remove the powercables from the cpu to the psu, the mobo lights up, the led lights on the rams light up and cycle like normaly and the fans spin up. And gpu seems ok, works in my reserve pc now. 8 year old hardworker, runs fine with AW, but not so well on other things. Makeing me belive the mobo survived the incident. So its either the cpu or the cpu outtakes on the psu that is messed up. Parts : Intel Core i7-7700 Kaby Lake Prosessor MSI Z270 Gaming M7, Socket-1151 EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3, 750W PSU Any tips ? I have already ordered an AMD package including mobo, psu, ram, fan and psu. But would have been nice to salvage the original pc, although the few lgs1151 processors I seen so far cost almost the same as the AMD upgrade package.
  4. Sometimes you can get a peek in the garage when the camera pans arround. She is standing nearby something that looks like a snack vendingmachine.
  5. Team composition cannot change and are considered locked from the moment of the first submission Any changes in composition of a locked team will lead to the affected submissions being disqualified (if a team submits the first result and then replaces one team member and submits another one, only the first submission will be accepted) I guess the team composition doesnt affect the vehicles you use ? Changing vehicles between chapters.
  6. When you look at whats on the other team before the match starts and you know unless some freaking miracle is happening, you gonna lose. Forawhile I could tell the outcome of a Glops match by just looking at which team had the most TDs (When wilks was all the rage) . The team with the most Wilks usually lost because they camp and dont cap.
  7. GLOPS and a TAGAN platoon show up with three Sphinxes. You better hope they are on the other side. They do alot of damage/spotting but cant be bothered to cap.
  8. XARMY is no more, disbanded. New battalion is established by alot of former xarmy members and it is now UKVeterans. Will update this if they seek new members.
  9. Thats why I alot of the time drag my arty into pve and go shotgun with it. Just remember to use triple repair kit, because the bots have tendency to target the arty before anything else in front of them. Got some guys together and did a 5 x AS21 with double mortarcrew run in Spec Ops. Did all the chapters with the mortarcrews doing most of the damage. We did need to do some damage ourself to get things done within the time limits and ofcourse to get targets the crew couldnt handle. It was pretty fun to see 10 mortar crews constantly firing mortars on targets. Dont mind some more new PVE maps, but personaly id like to see more GLOPS and PVP maps.
  10. Lately I been playing alot of PVP trying to do the raid missions and required damage so I can get the differents camo skins achivements for doing 5000 damage i pvp. And I noticed I keep doing the same mistakes I did when playing pvp actively back in the days. 1 : I struggle to find the balance between playing passive and agressive. Sometimes im way to agressive and get punished, sometimes Im way to passive and find myself alive but outnumbered. 2 : Expecting others to join or cover me while making a push and spoting the sweet targets for them. I still got this naive idea that if i make the push here the others will join me, but most of the time the mbts hang back, noone shots at the spots. Hell this something I should have stopped doing when I played Wot. 3 : Tunnelvision still happens. My focus on getting damage for the achivements keeps me zoomed in and I forget to check my surroundings/minimap. Im usually in a nice position/cover for the one im shooting at but I forget about those that flank. This is not something I tend to do in GLOPS for some reason, maybe because there im playing to cap/defend cap and survive, and not farm damage. 4 : I still do stupid shit, make a daring run on one side hoping to get behind the enemy and flank them, sometimes it works, but mostly not. 5 : Getting those sweet rams always get me into trouble. 6 : Not joining the lemming train and get the idea that I will hold the other side alone with my light armored vehicle and find myself rushed by the other sides lemming train.
  11. I see that the K-153 is from RusTD battalion. My experience when seeing those in pve : Either they play really good or afk / disconnects / rush suicide and not respawning.
  12. GLOPS 8 to 10 MBTs mostly. Then TD or AFV for variantion. Very seldom I take the light tanks to play. PVP 5 to 8 when I need it for camoflage rewards or raid PVE 7 to 10 when I need it for camoflage rewards, raids or weekend thingy. Heroics only when i feel like it. MBTs or the T15
  13. If you dont play GLOPS or pvp it can be kinda hard. I always look on who is on the other side when the matches start. Checking what battalions they are in and what vehicles they are using. And when the match is finished Ill take a look at their results. Eventualy you willl start to see a pattern. What vehicles they use and what battalions to worry about. As for PVE always look at the end results , see what vehicles did well. There are many vehicles that you should only play just to get to next one, and never play them again.
  14. They should change some of the missions. Alot of them promote selfish or bad gameplay. Get rid of the ones where you basicly need to kill steal/damage farm. Then you got those bring a specific dealer vehicle and be among the top. When the vehicle will be out damage out spotted by pretty much every other class. I have yet to see any mission promoting capping or retaking caps. And if I get another use a MARAT SHISKIN vehicle mission... I just want french, korean or us vehicles so i can grind those pvp/pve skins while I do these raid missions
  15. GLOPS and PVP : Look at what vehicles the high ranking battlions are using. CATTB's are pretty hot now. They have tendency to always platoon up to better their win chance. They usually play very agressive (and go hard for airstrikes in GLOPS). If you see a platon of 3 x Leclercs T40, 3 x Sphinx, 3 x T15 or 3 X CATTB on the other side, it usually mean your team is going to be in a world of hurt and beeing constantly spotted. PVE meta : Bring whatever vehicles that has autocannon and missiles. Never stop shooting.
  16. Oh havent played the Swing for ages, have to take it GLOPS today. And i feel your pain here Lenticulas. When things are this bad I just try to farm damage and kills. Or atleast prevent the other team from getting that 'dont lose more than 300 points achivement.'
  17. Never liked fighting the 99a2 head to head when Im in tanks that only got APS and Heat. I never felt that i could reliably penetrate the lower plate. Its the mbt I switch to explosive when i meet them and just pump rounds on the driver hatch for garantied damage.
  18. Ah the Griifin 50mm, a tank I really disliked when i first got it. It felt weak and slow. Its a beast, and the shooting feels very satisfying.
  19. One advice : Join a battlion and do missions with them. Pve with randoms is a nightmare sometimes unless you are able to carry the game.
  20. Mandatory service in the Norwegian Army as Infantry in 1990. Served as a UN soldier in South Lebanon for 2 years in the middle of the nineties.
  21. Sniper - Dont really use her much, think she need longer view range or faster targeting. And she is to easy to spot. Mortar - They are fine, and a solid choice for most of the game modes. Rocket crew - used them alot before the range nerf. They also added alot to the immersion of a battlefield. Nothing like seing a stream of rockets flying across the map. Personally i feel they should give them the range back and tune down the damage. Was great to get those back area campers moving if you manage to spot them. Personally I would like to see more things like that added to the game
  22. Maybe limit what tanks a platoon could join in. Doing a platoon with 3 cattbs in GLOPS feels dirty :) Like 3 vehicles but all from different class. Would also get rid of the cancer like 3 x MT-LBs, 3 x Lec-t40, 3 x Marders and other fun but totally devastating combinations. Anyway still after the nerfs the Cattb is still a pretty solid tank in pvp thanks to that 2k damage output and armor.
  23. Narrows I feel is a bit different than the other maps. Most of the time teams manage to secure their own caps and hold them. Usually the fighting is over cap 3. This is the only Glops map i think where doing damage and not dying can really make a difference, as long as you manage to keep your own cap safe.
  24. If you live in a good timezone for pvp and glops I would say doing pve only learns you bad habits that will set you back the day you decide to go do pvp or Glops. I see it in my battalion we have a couple of guys that have several thousand if not tenthousands battles of pve and they do battalion specops/heroics without any problem. But take them to the pvp or glops... they dont know where shoot frontaly, since they are used to tanks spinning arround always showing them a spot they can penetrate. Ofcourse some of them are over 60 years old so that might be a factor :) But anyway if you do well against players then you own the bots. And join a battlion, playing alone with randoms can be very frustrating.
  25. In PVE up to tier 8. I only use Heat rounds for that extra damage. You really dont need any other ammo type since the mbts tanks spin arround and will always show you a spot you can penetrate with Heat ammo. PVE 9 to 10 still more heat than AP, usually switch to AP when i shot at PL's Also use the training grounds. Take your time there shot at stuff with different ammo types, learn the weakspots. Take a T15 with Thermobaric rounds there an be amazed about how many different vehicles you can sett on fire with one or two thermobaric missiles.
