  1. What we're working right now with is a version where the wheeled bots basically move exactly like tracked bots (bots neutral steering). I haven't seen this in action yet and it won't be present at 0.33 launch.
  2. We are aware of the potential "another York" or "lol ATGM spam" problems and will balance the vehicle accordingly.
  3. In theory it's still accessible. In praxis, stuff that appears there almost always appears on Discord first unless it's some generic DIS GAEM SUX GAEM DEAD whine someone needs to gets off his chest. The German moderators are okay to use this link, nothing wrong with that, but, again, in praxis, I am the only guy in this entire company who speaks German so you can imagine the position this takes on my priority list. The most effective working solution is when the same moderators notify me via our internal channels about an issue. Which they do regularily.
  4. That would be mostly pointless. We don't really read there. Damn, where is that link even from?
  5. What you are talking about is a serious nerf to an item that was quite expensive (the commander isn't on its own, but it never came in a non expensive bundle). That is never a good idea. As for working around this issue - I mean, there are multiple ways. For example, we could introduce a commander that, upon successful penetration of an enemy vehicle, cancels all its commander and crew bonuses for X seconds, including deactivation various skills with conditions. This would be useless for PvE, but it would make for a nice PvP killer. I am not saying we will do this (in fact there is no such plan). But we could.
  6. Yep that's pretty much how it works. The problem is the real disappearance - we can't "fix" ghost shells caused by poor latency because there is nothing to fix. The server always decides whether a hit takes place or not (if it didn't, we'd have all sorts of hacks) and if a hit takes place on a 500ms client but not on the server (as you can imagine, this isn't all that rare), the shell would previously just disappear ("ghost shell"), while, right now it will appear as a ground hit. In reality the net code is nowhere near this simple, there are some cryengine latency compensations and so on, but that's the basics of the issue. The "destroyed ERA doesn't take hits" is another "source" of ghost shells - upon contact with destroyed ERA, the shell would visuall just disappear (the hit would process normally though, but there would be no explosion for example. This did lead some players to believe their hits wouldn't register even if they did. So yes, both fixes are basically visual, but perception is very important in gaming and this should help reduce the amount of reports considerably.
  7. This skill is Ophelia's raison d'etre and also the reason why many players paid a lot of money for it. We can't remove it and nerfing would be very controversial. But we can work around it in 0.33.
  8. We removed many of them. The progression rate around 2016-2017 was a mess, we made too many bonuses and too many players got too much stuff too fast. Even now, there are veterans with billions of XP and Credits that get every new progression vehicle instantly. Not healthy for the game.
  9. 1) I wasn't talking about COVID 2) You really don't know much about basic economics, do you? :) 3) See 2) "Everything has a price tag" was aimed at having regional prices, not at the fact we are actually selling something or the literal prices, Regardless, monetization policies are one of few things where we generally do not accept player feedback. It's like taxes - everyone hates the way things are but in the end, they're needed. That's how the world works. We may not like it, but ALL other games operate the same. Especially free to play.
  10. Yes, I obviously know some Russian "influencers" - I just think the term is overused.
  11. Yes, he is a supertester, true. But this is operator information, not developer one. We generally do not share info about monetization with anyone and there is no reason why he should know such stuff in advance. The "influencer" part I don't know about. Maybe in Russia.
  12. Both ofc. There is just one server. This is actually more than enough to keep the game stable.
  13. So this is true. I really don't know why a mediocre blogger would know this, but it is.
  14. The daily CCU is roughly 6-7 thousand players, depending on the day. It's less than it was on Christmas (10k), but that's natural, summer is always the lowest time. Generally speaking, summer is the worst for gaming. Nice weather and all that. We'd have even less were it not for Corona. But that's normal. Overall, the population is stable for a very long time now.
  15. Why hopeful? EU prices would seriously hurt the incomes from the RU region. Russia isn't doing great economically right now as it is. Reducing the EU prices to the RU level would have the same effect. This, in turn, would reduce the chances of further development and could lead to the game's closure. The people who it would hurt the most would be the fans of the game, who came to love it and are still sticking around (AW still has tons of fans, sometimes I am amazed how many). Like I said, everything comes with a price tag. We're glad that so many still support the game and us working on it and we're glad we can keep working on it. But such is the price for that.
  16. Actually seems I was wrong, RU will still use Igromarket, so they'll have a different set of prices, I reckon.
  17. And? I played several MMOs with Russian teammates and I am pretty sure they paid a different price for the game than I did. This is normal practice. Like I said, if you don't like it, open a Russian account. You'll lose the EN support, but you'll have their prices. Actually, fun fact, it seems the RU server will get the EU prices after all... at least in USD.
  18. *sigh* You know that bread, milk and pretty much everything else costs less in Russia than it does here? And no, it's not "just pixels." This might come as a shock to you, but operating the game in the west costs much more than operating it in Russia. You can open a Russian account, nothing really prevents you from doing that, but you will lose English support (I personally solve 3-4 "weird cases" per day, for example, but as soon as I see the account is Russian, I refer the person to RU Discord). That's how things are in this world - everything comes with a price tag.
  19. They aren't mutually exclusive. You can get both.
  20. No. In your case, B gets an elimination. The assist mechanic triggers only if you don't kill BUT deal most damage. That is why "assist" and "kill" are both always together - either you get the kill, or, if you sgnificantly contribute, an assist.
  21. There are several goal categories included in this Battle Path: Kill (or Destroy, which is the same thing) simply means you have to be the player who deals the finishing blow to the target. Assist means that you have to be the player who deals the most damage to the target (save for killing it). There is no threshold – if player A deals 40 percent of all the damage to the target, player B deals 30 percent of all the damage done to the target and then player C deals the remaining 30 percent and kills it, player A will get the “assist”. Kill or assist requirements often come together, so you can either achieve a kill, or an assist and both will count towards your mission progress. Eliminate means that you have to destroy the target AND, at the same time, be the player dealing the most damage to it. What that means is that, in the case described above, no player would achieve elimination. However, if two players dealt 30 percent of damage each and then another player dealt 40 percent of damage and killed the target, that player would achieve elimination. Performance is the percentage of hits that hit your target while dealing main hitpoint damage. In other words, a mission with 80 percent performance requirement requires 80 percent of all your shells to hit your target and deal hitpoint damage to it. What this means is that: - Shells that hit and deal damage (even without penetration, like HE explosions) will count - Shells that don’t hit but still deal damage (HE splash) don’t count - Shells that hit but don’t deal damage (non-penetrations, ricochets) don’t count - Shells that hit but only deal module damage (hitting enemy ERA, tracks or gun) don’t count Last but not least, the Enigma Unit skin mission series (PLM, NPAA, Lions and Enigma) all require the use of one of the Battle Path’s vehicles: Type 74, Seongun-915, SBS Pindad, Type 10 Hitomaru and Hunter AFV.
  22. We did recycle those, but there were adjustments and I am not sure they are in the live client yet. I'd wait until the actual launch that will come along with a small update.
  23. I suppose it was a bad time for Q&A but promise is a promise. Right now it's sort of a transitional period from the last classic season (Spirithaven) to a new season concept. I think I can say that seasons will get longer with more larger updates per season.
