  1. played wages of sin last night.  first off FPS upon loading went to 12  before the start timer went off.   play through FPS was all over the place going as high as 120  and the aforementioned 12 at the most in opportune times.  I  get better than 60 FPS normally with occasional lowering when receiving auto cannon spam.  hope this gets addressed really quickly.

  2. how hard would it be to implement graphics optimization to the game because right now it's not optimized very well.

    how did the current commander leveling system originate, was it more or less labor intensive to develop than other systems we haven't seen or weren't used

    what are the current monetization plans to keep the game funded

    what are some of the suggestions for features that would absolutely break the game

Thanks for the info about the cameras, I didn't know about them.  Any chance you or the LABS folks got a count of the cameras.  Are they spread out evenly or do some areas get more.  I'll be looking next time I get a chance to run this.  Members of my Battalion have survived this but I have not, perishing at or near the ship.   Once again thank you for the guide and the tips.


  4. my google fu is not strong today.   looking for a guide or explanation as to why the missile warning indicator goes off when you are completely hidden by terrain or on the other side of a building that you can't shoot through.   does the game treat it like a radar receiver in that upon receiving a signal the alarm goes off and since its a radio wave can penetrate through a limited amount of dirt and buildings?

Can somebody direct me to an accurate  game explanation as to how HEAT damage is dealt out to targets.  Specifically why is there a minimum damage listed for a shell when you CAN get below the minimum listed amount.      This is what I understand at present(simplified).  shell hits target-> pen yes, no -> if yes roll damage, post result-> if no, roll damage, ignore minimum damage for shell type post result.   example 7 sequential hits on a Hunter with Heat in the turret. results in 6 hits between 50 an 59 and one for 60.   I know that armor side/front thickness will determine pen or not.  please don't tell me to shoot someplace else that is not helpful.   the example happened yesterday.   Other games have also given similar results across all  target vehicles in tiers 7-10 although usually not 7 below minimum in a row.  Firing vehicles are 7-9 MBTs.  Yesterday's result is the one that made me ask  the question out of frustration. 

    Is the game basically saying you have x armor and the pen is y and any left over pen is converted into damage via a formula . Example you have 50 more points of pen than armor so that 50 is converted into damage? or is it more like  OK more pen then armor roll damage and get the occasional below minimum listed damage, with 7 in a row being statistically possible?

    ahhh commander selection the bain of my game existence LOL. definitely have Ioannis who I have never run and Miramon is Carlos his first name?  if it is he is a low time commander for me, one of the Sargent levels I think.  currently I have Freja at Lt, Philip has the xp for Lt but is still promotion locked and Sabrina is at 2 Lt. and currently being run on almost everything to catch up and run to Col first after advice here on the forums.  that's going to be quite a while for me.    Thanks for the info.

  7. dfnce & knutiott  ok so from the red circle you are telling me that with the right commander and vehicle you can spot all the bots eastward from the top of the map to the area near the east west road?.   because from that position I can't with my current vehicles and commanders.  if the answer is yes then that is much more helpful for me.   can either of you hazard a guess as to why people go en mass the the red circle? please just don't say because they are bad players.  why is this decision unsound because it seems to offer both cover and decent sight lines.  has the changes in bot aggressiveness made the difference?  at what tier and how many matches did it take for you to decide that the red circle is not that great?  if you went that way in an mbt what do you consider adoptable damage to receive.  asking the last question to see if I am in general too afraid of taking damage .   are my ramblings making sense?


    Oh and one other thing if the questions warrant making a new thread should it be moved?

    so you are saying the route from a 1 to a firing position at b 3 is not optimal for harbinger?   huh.    what is?  is it class dependent?   mid tier, below and including 6?  when I go south  everybody else goes n and e and I get low damage output.  TBH this is a map that I usually avoid so there is that lack of specific knowledge factor again.

  9. super frustrated at the moment.  have V2 optics and telescopic sights on EVERY vehicle and I'm constantly getting  hit from BVR (PVE) .  did this get wrecked in the last patch or is it me, and positioning.  I'm beginning to think the vision mods are not worth the $$.  couldn't get to the mound past the bridge in harbinger with out loosing 1/2 my hp, that's just the one that made me stop for the night and cool down.


  10. do these files also contain the ques for when the sound is played? (IIRC WOT required something to happen before the sound played. which required you to edit something else and possibly break the sound/game all together)  I would love to have UP!  after every reload not just intermittently as it is now.

  11. don't know if this is the best location for this so please move if/as appropriate.   going to show my lack of specific game knowledge here. where are the  PVE  mini maps that are on the loading for each mission located, are they listed as the mission or something else.  do you need anything special to read the file ?  could a player use them of line to get more knowledgeable about good spots for different types of vehicles or just general map knowledge? can they be enlarged and or printed if someone wanted to?

    edit : sorry I should have been more specific in wanting PVE maps in the original post.  post now has PVE

  12. as a player who thinks he is *bad* I want to take issue with rewarding *better players* more.   for the love of the game don't do it.   good players have no clue as to how frustrating it is to have somebody that has memorized all spawn positions, drive a meta tank/daka vehicle and does 3 to 5X more kills and damage than the entire team.   if you want better players there needs to be some incentive to actually TRY to get better IMHO.  I've been here in the game since 2015 and have had my issues with good players.  want to really reward good players, let them go *pro* and not compete with those of us in little league.   to be honest I don't know how to equability distribute rewards that would suit the most people good through bad.   I like the game, not always all the changes.    please don't let this game turn into a WOT variant that craps no non unicums because it CAN.
