Just compare my sound mod with the mentioned Crew Sound Mod and Thunder Crew - they are very similar to each other and are a compilation of phrases from different games. Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to make an integral voice-over (for example, Steel Foxes voice mod for WoT recorded by a professional studio Strategic Music voice acting games for money) based on only one game and to make all the phrases fit each other in meaning, while at the same time trying to preserve the variety of sounds.
Every man to his taste. At first I did the voice mod for myself, but later I decided to share it to the public. If you don't like it, your choice.

Sorry, I've corrected the description. In russian-speaking community author of VoW is known by his real name Vadim, which is why there is some times confusion when mentioned the Voice of War sound mod pack and your's Vadim's Weapon Sounds mod on AL forum.

    I see. Interesting, I didn't know that

Well thank you guys for the answers, after playing the game a bit with the sound mods I have to say that this did revived the game a lot more for me, it gives a lot more personality to the vehicles, I dont know why they dont invest a little more on the sound section of the game. Or at least give more variety to the vehicles gun sounds by caliber and engines and let others mod it... Since as I did read in other post they are unnoficially tolerated, but wel I guess is just dreaming xd

EDIT: I wish because of this the coax and mgs had different sounds by caliber, although I know they arent that useful to care about having  better sounds, but anyway would be good.

Im happy to hear you enjoy it

Unfortunately coax all uses the same sounds. Can't separate them by caliber

Yeah, thank you, finally I understand how it works... Now its time to test some mods :)

EDIT: Btw, do this mods slow the loading progress when entering the match?

Only time you would need to reinstall the mods is if you wanted to grab the newest version. Which isn't required anyway

How can i add the voicelines in to the game? I need a tutorial.

Well it works pretty much the same as modding decals - have correctly named file in correct folder(s). Issue is AW has an insane amount of voice lines, so a) you can't replace them all with something fitting, as GHPC doesn't nearly as many voice lines. And b) it's incredibly tedious as you need to replace every single file manually. For thousands of files.

Can you elaborate more on this?
Do you have access to the sound files of the game from some of the best-time versions of this project? (late summer / autumn / winter 2015 - winter 2016)

If so, I would like to know in more detail: which version of the game and is there a complete sound package? I mean not only gun shots, but also other sounds, such as the interface in battle, voice acting for the crew, sounds of active systems triggering on an approaching guided missile, ricochets and so on, absolutely all sounds.

The fact is that the ideal sound pack for me is one that will allow you to feel in battles now as if it were late summer / autumn / winter 2015 - winter 2016, with the help of sounds. Because in my opinion the best sounds of this game were at that time (and not only them, the interface, balance, gameplay in the end and online)

It's literally just a GitHub repository from like 6 years ago my guy, there's nothing to really elaborate on. Here's the link, knock yourself out.  https://github.com/nokillnando/ACFAwSounds

If you want to use 100% old sounds go ahead, modding your game to do so isn't hard. But there's a reason I didn't just use old sounds.

  6. Mod changes the sound of all the weapons in the game, except the Shilkas. This includes main guns, autocannons, machine guns and ATGMs. The ATGM sounds were taken from TobiichiOrigamis sound mod, as I was too lazy to deal with the ATGM soundfile shennanigans. and the external rotary cannon sounds were taken from Artos mod.

It also changes out the sounds for all three infantry dismounts, highly recommended with Arto's infantry dialogue mod

The sounds used come from War Thunder, Squad, DCS  and Gunner Heat PC.

Installation: just throw the three fsb files into the correct folder, if needed create them. The fsb files location should look like below. If you don't play in English just replace English with whatever language you use.  image.png.139dac84e2dd74209d061e219dda13c0.png

Steam users follow the same instructions, but also have a folder comprised of numbers between Armored Warfare and Armored Warfare MyCom (or somewhere along those lines).

You can download the mod here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qUdJU4fOTX-EbJFEyHkn_oiE9f0bwYTb/view?usp=sharing

    Alternative 140+mm guns version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1w31NMIKjLYje5ajIgg3REdrEMiWgi7e0/view?usp=sharing

Quick tip: This mod only changes the weapon sounds, which means, if you like the extra sounds of Voice of War, but prefer these weapon sounds, you can install Voice of War first, then this mod, overwriting the files in /weapons to get these weapon sounds, while keeping the various engine, UI etc. sounds of Voice of War.

    Showcase video:

    Update changes:

    14. 1. - new low caliber AC sounds:

    11. 12. - new coaxial sounds, and a volume tweak:

    3. 12. - New rotary sounds:

    2. 12. - Quick update that adds overhauled 140+mm gun sound , internally and externally. No video, because lazy and tired.

  7. Armored Warfare Revisited is a weapon sound mod merging the sounds from my older mod - Vadim's weapon sound mod, with old sounds Armored Warfare used to have all those years ago in the Obsidian era.

You can download the mod here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wXcLLk4iYoNFYOZU5WNOjBaqVZZY3DYW/view?usp=sharing

Installation: throw the contents of the zip into your localization folder, so it looks like this:image.png.139dac84e2dd74209d061e219dda13c0.png

If you use steam it should look something like Armored Warfare/some random numbers/Armored Warfare/localization...

The mod changes every weapon system's sound in the game. You can check out how exactly it changes stuff in the video below:

    3. 12. New rotary sounds:

Update on 2nd of December changes 140+ mm gun sounds. No video because tired and lazy

Update 1.1 adds new sounds for low caliber autocannons:
