Never release a PR statement without it, kids!
On a more serious note: I am really curious, if they walk the walk and how that is supposed to look now.

Is there also a mod doing the opposite, improving dirt/snow accumulation on vehicles?

At least in GlOps, you get often reminded that the T-72B3, T-90A, BMPT 2017, T-90MS, BMPT-72 are struggling, due to being 1-2 tier(s) lower and/or are not performing as well as their opponents in the same role.Either Kazehana goes by another IGN or f'ed it up:

OK, never mind it was already bad shit crazy. No need for any upgrades.

Looks like Archibald was at least partially successful with his task of scrubbing the data!
By the way, neat idea with the crawler. SS might need to up his game. All thou, that would make the scavenger hunt only a thing for a really very small niche part of the community.
Thinking about it, to a degree it already is. -

The initial nerfs were needed, CATTB was immune to HEAT/ATGMs from the front and largely immune to AP, the turret / hull sides were fairly resistant against HEAT/ATGMs.
Add to that resilience 4000+ HP and fairly good speed/agility and you go deleting stuff ≤ 3500k with the 150 mm double tap for days. The introduction of significant bloom between shots was necessary to actually make it a short range thing, as well as reduce armour a bit to not let it just drive up to stuff (this was also pre-shipdamage from HEAT MP/ATGMs → No pen = 0 damage).
Then nerfing reload, armour, hp, damage, penetration again and again was pure overkill.-

Correct! The progress on the achievement was fixed with the last patch. Some good news.

Well, there is only Desert Crossing in GlOps taking place in a hot climate.
But just like Barren Divide / Waterway / Grindelwald you will rarely play it, due to smaller teams (10vs10 or 8vs8) in the MM triggering mostly the "GlOps converted" versions of Ghost Field / Roughneck / Narrows. Extra points for MM setting them up 8vs8 with a 3-man platoon on just one team. -

A wild guess? To then conveniently forget about the supposedly later changes/buffs, just like they only half assed reverting the Artillery from their glorious idea of HE direct fire derpgun TD's.

Moscow Calling next weekend, I'm having nightmares already.

The title "Waterproof" got severely nerfed to "Frogman".

Seriously? It's 2021, and we have to take screenshots, upload them to a 3rd party site as well as to submit a link + info that could be easily scraped from the server database.
I'm really curious how the second attempt on Episode 1 plays out, chucking 42 PvE / 50 Weekend SpecOps / 48 GlOps at the community after that statement. -

Wonder if that includes fixing the progression in the Apocalypse contract missions achievement counter and the Apocalypse Now contract missions counter.

Nothing to see here until the notes come.
Notes got changed or news replaced as a whole, previously said the new contract started early, but it got fixed and "not to worry all progress was saved".
Well, it was not. Old contract progress achievement stayed at 135/150 and does no longer progress, the new contract achievement is at 15/150 and counting. -
Have not seen a single unique offer yet and got my 3rd special offer just today (Bmpt 2017, K1A1, Chall. 1 Falcon).
Are you re-rolling?

Quote- You need to have registered to participate in the event (the registration will be available through the Prologue, so you can register at any point)
It will be a drag to get 80 games (Any mode counts) done in with any vehicles of the EU modern MBTs (Challenger 1, Challenger 2, Leopard 2, Leopard 2A5, Leopard 2A6, Leclerc, C1 Ariete) to complete the Prologue until June 30th, but it would still be doable.

I mean, supposedly the budget is small for AW, but is having an employee look at a few thousand screenshots as well as cross-check and verify them with accounts by hand really cheaper than a writing a short script for checking =< 2500 BC on each account in the database? It looks a bit like a "Save a dime, spend a dollar" solution.
Also, no comment about the use of boosts or chests? Or do they imply those with "one that can be solved easily"?

I mean I really hope you're wrong but at this point I'm not sure. Though they will monitor the increase so given most people already were playing a lot of those prototype vehicles before the campaign I think it could be significantly harder for that group to get a high increase. I don't know the statistics on vehicle/tier usage but I'm quite sure it's easier to get a gain on non T10 stuff. So there's some hope left.
Past storyline campaigns did run fairly smoothly, lets hope this one will as well. It is also completely behind closed doors, if it is not going in the direction they want it to go (pumping up player numbers in general as well as available players in queue), there are plenty of options to "help" it along. I doubt they will let it crash and burn after just the Prologue if it is meant to be to run for a year or so.

Yes it's been confirmed. I don't have a screenshot, unfortunately.
Which of the two then?
80 games in the same vehicle or 80 games in vehicles of the selected group?
-
QuoteIt is important to note that you don't just need to play 80 battles, you need to play 80 battles in one of the listed vehicles.
It isn't stated specifically, but I think it is reasonable to assume that you do not need to play all 80 battles in the same vehicle. If that were required, I would hope that they would have made it very clear.
Any clarification on that front?
All done (with Progression Vehicles)

There was a quote from SS floating around stating, that progression vehicles don't earn money as well as veterans sitting on tons of XP to instantly max them.
So they will only introduce premiums with alternate progression systems for modules/upgrades.
