  1. OS:  Microsoft Windows 10 Home, Version 19042 64 bit

    Game Version: 0.34.7774 (2021-02-17)

Brief Description: Challenger 2 & ATDU have bugged HE resistance

Steps to Reproduce: Load a High Caliber HE shell larger than 130mm aim at this specific spot on both vehicles

Result: Causes full penetration damage and damages internal modules

Expected Behavior:  The Armor Inspector has this area listed as a innate component, HE should not penetrate and cause damage to the vehicle

    Fixes/Workarounds: None

  2. Nice shopping gents, how is the M1A1 Storm? managed to pick it up for 21,999 coins.

I managed to finish off the 100 pieces for the Kurganets-25,  I don't know with it which weapon system to lean on the autocannon reminds me of 57mm from the BWP-2000 the thermobaric missiles are great at bating aps to follow up with the big tandem charge missiles.

  3. Yeah the alpha damage is just too low to use effectively, basically in the current pve environment where there is a risk of overexposure to alpha strikes with a paper LT in scenarios where you need the killing shot to stop yourself being spotted, it has troubling doing it consistently.

Attempts at damage farming with camo control is ruined by the gun's reload you can't utilize the full dpm without burning camo.  The turret being a full damage model also takes away any advantage of peeking versus the Expeditionary Tank.

Looking at the full list, there are a few vehicles that are potentially concerning, but we will have to wait and see:

    • VBL Ingwe's missiles can be annoying to face while playing T5/6 MBTs, depending on how much they can pen. Many of the T5 tanks already have really weak turret armour.
    • There are also other missile only vehicles, such as VCAC Mephisto and IT-1.
    • Will K21, AS21, and Leclerc T40 use top attack missiles, or they stick to autocannons only?
    • Kinda surprised that SBS Pindad is there too. Its performance is also something to watch out for.
    • And hey Bradley AAWS-H also there.

oh god the kinetic missiles have atgm's mechanics right they still do chip damage, thank god they doing a pass on AI shooting at you out of render range because that with the kinetic projectiles alpha striking and auto penning you would be bullshit.

    • Tier 1-6 rebalance maybe mid-2021. Will not be in 0.34.

Yes the PVE experience at these tiers is annoying its a alpha strike situation where playing low tier vehicles get wiped in 2 hits from bots Atgms, that why it turns into a dps war where you wipe the bots before they dump alpha strikes into you. it's really the lack of effective armor and lower hitpoints make this an uncomfortable experience.

Can you take a look at targeting for bots because I've been spotted in a soft skinned vehicle pop smoke and get alpha strike by every bot out of render range shooting at my position.

  6. Rough calculation for the total battle coin cost, by the $30 package in the shop pushing you to rank 20 with 50,000 coins, the cost from 1-10 is 5000 coins with 11-20 being 45,000, the rest from 21-50 being 135,000. Bring the total coin cost to 185,000

does not include buying boxes from the daily shop for parts for vehicles

    thanks for the correction knutliott..

  7. PISH is so good for its potential to splash modules and damage them if you know where to aim with the round.

as an example the Leo 2AX is very susceptible to frontal ammorack if you aim a PISH round at the lower plate opposite to the driver.

T-15 if you aim at the turret ring you can break the turret ring and damage the ammorack

as noted above PISH is very strong against sloped armor that would autobounce APFSDS.

so a 20-25 PISH loadout is still great.

You're forgetting to add the intra-clip delay.  I don't have a Chally Falcon so don't know what it is, but without adding that you're not getting a true picture of its "OP-ness".

Also as I recall it doesn't do partial reloads, correct?  I.e. the reload is 18 seconds whether you've fired 1 shell or all 6 shells?

yeah it runs on a drum system, the base reload is 18 seconds regardless of the amount of shells loaded. back before 0.33 it had a 8 round drum and a 24 second reload but the armor was full green.

Looks like high tier HESH and PISH are getting a nerf again (understandably, but hopefully not by too much like how they used to do with PISH balancing in the past).

BTW when did tanks start firing ATGMs again? Was this from Sept 24's patch? I'm pretty sure that they were not supposed to use them at 0.33's launch, yet it's going back to 0.32 status in that aspect.

They nerfed the post spalling splash/cone for PISH and HESH shells they tend not to critically damage multiple modules and crew now, requires more pin point aim to splash modules now.

Yeah they brought back ATGM spam, Merkava's, Type-99s all now do chip damage especially that ready rack on the Merkava's.

i think someone sneaked into the garage at night and replaced them with Tupperware sandwich boxes.

It's a pity ham and cheese sandwiches don't really have any protective effect vs. HEAT rounds

well they just rendered the most protective slowest MBT line obsolete with their rebalance, what a cirrus.

OOOOh i see what you mean, Chal 1 viewport big and green to the t7 leo for example...
You know all those big box-things, hung down the side of the Chally: referred to as Bazooka Plates IIRC by the brit tankers, (ERA) arent they supposed to stop heat rounds?

nope no HEAT protection what so ever.

Chally 1 dead too - viewport weakspot gone (the one you needed to know where it was), and replaced by a big fat LFP one, like all the others.

Do they all have exactly the same weakspot model now?

yeah view port can be penetrated by high penetration rounds, terrible side armor. they forgot to model the side armor kit effectiveness, they've done it for ERA kits, but the TES-H gets modeled as 35mm air spaced armor greatly reducing its effective armor
