Preorder You can now secure the access to the Battle Path early (and with preorder-exclusive items) in the Web Shop “Battle Path” section. The following bundles are available: Force Recon access with the Force Recon camouflage and Drone Reaper decal Force Recon access with 50.000 Battle Coins, the Force Recon camouflage and the Drone Reaper decal Force Recon access with 10 Battle Coin boosters, the Force Recon camouflage and the Drone Reaper decal Please note: the Battle Coin tokens for the Force Recon Battle Path will be awarded to your account after the next update (and before the launch of the Force Recon Battle Path). The camouflage is inspired by the pattern used by Russian scouts in Chechnya while the decal is a more contemporary design, referring to the current prevalence of drones on the battlefield, which happens to be connected to the theme of the Battle Path. But more on that below. The bundles are available in our Web Shop: Force Recon Battle Path Content The Battle Path has several themes. The main of them is, as the name of the Battle Path suggests, reconnaissance and various elite forces responsible for such tasks. This will be reflected by the appearance of Loitering Recon Ammunition as a part of a full reconnaissance paradigm shift of the game. There will also be some visual assets referring to this theme and we’ll tell you more about later. The secondary theme can be characterized as “upgrades” and is reflected in the choice of the vehicles. These include: BKM-1 Tier 7 Premium Tank Destroyer (which can be considered an upgrade of the early BMPT series) Stridsvagn 122 Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank (which can be considered an upgrade of the Leopard 2A5 Main Battle Tank) AMPV 30 Tier 10 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle (an upgrade over the U.S. M113 Armored Personnel Carrier, which came from a heavily modified Bradley hull) The AMPV 30 will be the primary carrier of the new abovementioned mechanic and will be unlockable for reaching Level 50 of the Battle Path. But that’s just the beginning, because the popular Hunter Loot Crates are making a return in the form of Recon Loot Crates, which will once again award you with a random Premium vehicle that you do not have yet of Tier 6 or higher, excluding copies of progression vehicles with permanent skins (or 2000 Gold if you have them already). There will be four Recon Loot Crates available (three as a part of level progression, one for completing the mission series). Furthermore: 1000 Legendary Blueprints will once again be available for progression through the Battle Path (missions, levels) The Battle Path will once again offer overprogression Levels 51-60 with thousands of Legendary Blueprints for the most dedicated of players A new Legendary Vehicle (the unlocking which requires the ownership of AMPV 30) will also come along with the Battle Path (or shortly after the launch) As for the owners of the older Legendary Vehicle owners – you will receive the opportunity to unlock elements from the current Battle Path vehicles for your machines down the line. These include: BKM-1’s S-8 rocket launchers (in an upgraded form) for BMPT Mod.2025 Strv 122’s upgraded turret roof armor for Leopard 2A7DK We’ll tell you more about that mechanism after the launch of the Force Recon Battle Path. But there are even more connections to Legendary Vehicles we will have for you, as the skins available in this Battle Path will do just that. Not everyone likes the golden/silver Sarpanite lining of the Legendary Vehicles. In this Battle Path, you’ll get the opportunity to earn military-looking skins, specifically: Desert skin for BMPT Mod.2025 (based on the BMPT that had appeared in Syria) Woodland skin for BMPT Mod.2025 (similar skin, only in woodland pattern) Military skin for Leopard 2A7DK (based on a specific Danish Leopard 2A7DK) Saber Pride skin for M10 Longstreet (based on a Sheridan Light Tank of the same name) Dozens of camouflages, decals and base paints await you as well. These will be split into three major segments – the one leading to BKM-1 (with Russian- and Ukrainian-themed decals, camouflages and other items), the one leading to Strv 122 (with Scandinavian decals, camouflages and more) and the one leading to AMPV (with American and Iranian themed camouflages, decals and more). Force Recon Battle Path Economy and Updates The cost of the Force Recon Battle Path will remain the same as with the current one: 50 levels, 4200 Battle Coins each 51-60 overprogression levels with increased cost (awarding Legendary Vehicle blueprints) Battle Coin boosters will also be available as before – not much has changed here. What did change was the set of missions that were once again overhauled, this time to include various scout vehicles across pretty much all Tiers. You’ll be doing a lot of fire support, scouting and, of course, damage dealing. The Battle Path shop is getting an update as well with the newest vehicle available for assembly from blueprints being the EBRC Jaguar Tier 10 Premium AFV (replacing the AFT-10). Indeed, the EBRC will be one of the non-Battle Path vehicles receiving the new Loitering Ammunition – you can read more about that in the dedicated article. We have also added 20 new camouflages and 10 new skins to the roster. The vehicles stay as they are as, aside from the ones from the most recent Battle Path and the exclusive ones, all have been added to the Battle Path shop already. This time the camouflages, skins and all other assets are inspired by real-life designs but let’s start with the most important part of the Battle Path – vehicles. Naturally, there’s more to the Battle Path than that: New Legendary Vehicle called Reaper FSV, the acquisition of which is tied to the AMPV 30 Popular Recon Loot Crates make a return (allowing you to obtain a single Tier 6-10 vehicle that you do not have yet) Legendary Blueprints are also available in this Battle Path And much more. But what we want to show you is the visual customization content that’s divided into three distinctive parts. Let’s take a look at it one by one. The initial part leading up to the acquisition of BKM-1 is thematically tied to Russia and Ukraine. The main visual prize here are two skins for the popular BMPT Mod.2025 Legendary Vehicle: Desert skin for BMPT Mod.2025 (based on the BMPT that had appeared in Syria around 2017) Woodland skin for BMPT Mod.2025 (similar skin, only in woodland pattern) You can see them here: Additionally, there are a great number of camouflages and decals inspired by real-life vehicles or events: Camouflages and Decals (Click to Open) Russian Camo (Airborne) - camouflage, as seen on a BMD-4 IFV during the 2008 Victory Day parade in Moscow. The camouflage is a modified version of the standard Russian pattern with muted colors. Russian Camo (76th VDV) - camouflage, as seen on a BTR-ZD "Skrezhet" belonging to the 76th Airborne Division. The Skrezhet ("screech") is a modified BTR-D APC with a twin 23mm anti-aircraft cannon installed on top. It was developed as a reaction on various counter-insurgency scenarios and the Russian experience in Chechnya. While initially intended as an anti-aircraft vehicle, the autocannons add devastating (if poorly protected) firepower against soft targets to Russian Airborne unit. Russian Camo (Winter Spots) - camouflage, as seen on a BMD-2 in 2024. It consists of improvised white spots applied on the dark green hull of the vehicle. Russian Camo (Improvised Spots) - camouflage, as seen on a BMP-2M transported using the Yenisey armored train in November 2023. Rasputitsa - camouflage, inspired by the spring and autumn season of thawing or heavy rains that turn roads into endless pits of mud, a common feature on Eastern European battlegrounds since time immemorial. Ukrainian Camo (Obsolete) - camouflage, as seen on Ukrainian T-64AKV stripped for parts in the Malyshev plant in Kharkov, 2024. The pattern is an unusual one and clearly based on old Soviet camouflage manuals. Ukrainian Camo (Improvised) - camouflage, as seen on a Ukrainian car of unknown type with machineguns installed on it in order for it to serve with local anti-drone troops. Ukrainian Camo (Disruptive) - camouflage, as seen on an Italian VCC-2 APC (a modified M113) transferred to Ukraine in 2024. The vehicle features a unique camouflage consisting of classic Russian camouflage colors with a disruptive green overlay. Love - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path. Kind of like "COEXIST", only with chest hair. Gunman - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path. The emblem of a hand holding a gun was painted on a Spetsnaz BMD-2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle during a war in Chechnya (the unit and date are unknown). VDV (Blue) - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path. The blue VDV inscription was painted on a Spetsnaz BMD-2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle during a war in Chechnya (the unit and date are unknown), the same vehicle from the Gunman decal. Flying Dutchman - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path. The second part leading up to the acquisition of Stridsvagn 122 features a skin for the Leopard 2A7DK Legendary Main Battle Tank called Military. The skin turns the vehicle into a crisp-looking Danish Leopard 2A7 without all the wear and tear of the stock look. Just like in the first part, there are a good number of camouflages and decals inspired by real-life designs used primarily by the Danish and Norwegian militaries. Camouflages and Decals (Click to Open) Danish Camo (Woodland) - camouflage, as seen on a Danish Leopard 2A5DK. Denmark typically uses two-tone camouflages with large spots, in this case black and green. Unlike Britain (which also uses two-tone green and black camouflage), Denmark doesn't use strict vehicle-specific layouts with the only requirement being color ratios (60% green, 40% black). Danish Camo (Winter) - camouflage, as seen on a Danish M113. Denmark typically uses two-tone camouflages with large spots, in this case grey and brown. Danish Camo (Desert) - camouflage, as seen on a Danish Leopard 2A5DK. Denmark typically uses two-tone camouflages with large spots, in this case sand and brown. Swedish Camo (Summer) - camouflage, as seen on multiple Swedish and Norwegian vehicles. Both countries use a similar pattern of sharp-edged shapes in four colors (two shades of green, brown and black). The camouflage came in use likely in the early 2000s or the late 1990s. In winter, some colors (notably the black and the brown) are covered with a washable white paint called Zalo. Finnish Camo (Summer) - camouflage, as seen on Finnish armored vehicles. The Finnish camouflage pattern closely resembles the universal Scandinavian/Swedish pattern but only uses three color tones (the brown color is missing). Finnish Camo (Winter) - camouflage, as seen on a Patria TRACKX demonstrator. This is a unique camouflage used for demonstration purposes. Longship - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path as seen on a vehicle belonging to the Norwegian Telemark battalion, of which the Viking longship is a symbol. Nagrinder - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path as seen on a vehicle belonging to the Norwegian Telemark battalion. Nagrinder (also Nágrindr or Nagrindr) is the gate from the Norse mythology through which the dead pass to the afterlife. Swedish Brown - base paint obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path. This is the brown color used in the Swedish camouflage scheme. Odin - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path as seen on a Leopard 1A5NO belonging to the Norwegian 5. Squadron (Cavalry Squadron) of the Armoured Battalion, which uses Odin (the central deity of the Norse mythology) as its symbol. Ymer - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path as seen on a Leopard 1A5NO belonging to the Norwegian 5. Squadron (Cavalry Squadron) of the Armoured Battalion. Ymer (or Ymir) is a giant featured in the Norse mythology, slain by Odin. Swedish Light Green - base paint obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path. This is the green color used in the Swedish camouflage scheme. Strike First - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path. The inscription Bitit Fyrst ("strike first") was seen on a Leopard 2A4NO belonging to the Norwegian Armoured Battalion and represents the battalion's motto. Allfader - decal obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path as seen on a Leopard 2A4NO belonging to the Norwegian Telemark battalion. The word Allfader ("All-father") refers to Odin and is one of his many titles. Swedish Green - base paint obtainable via the Force Recon Battle Path. This is the green color used in the Swedish camouflage scheme. And last but not least, the part leading up to the AMPV 30 is filled with American-themed assets (along with two Iranian camouflages). The flagship of this part is a skin for the M10 Longstreet Legendary Vehicle called Saber Pride. The skin is modeled after a real-life M551 Sheridan standing in the Lewis Army Museum in Washington, USA. Most of the camouflages and decals of this part were inspired by the inscriptions and emblems seen on American Abrams tanks: Camouflages and Decals (Click to Open) U.S. Winter Camo #1 - camouflage, as seen on an M1 Abrams from the Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division in Hohenfels (West Germany) in the 1980s. While rare, this pattern would appear on several other Abrams tanks over the years. U.S. Winter Camo #2 - camouflage, as seen on an M1 Abrams in the 1980s. The color white is a washable paint applied over the standard green color. U.S. Winter Camo #3 - camouflage, as seen on an M48A1 Patton from the Alpha Company, 37th Armor Regiment, 4th Armored Division in Neukirchen (West Germany) in 1961 during the Wintershield II exercise. U.S. Summer Camo - camouflage, as seen on a U.S. M48A5E1 tank. This is another non-standard version of the MERDC camouflage pattern, featuring darker colors in an unusual combination suitable for verdant environments. U.S. Recon Camo - camouflage, as seen on a Vietnam War-era M114 APC belonging to the Saumur Tank Museum. It features a very early and unique MERDC camouflage pattern pre-dating the MERDC schemes used en masse between the early 1970s and 1984 (when it was replaced by the standard NATO three-tone camouflage). Iranian Camo #1 - camouflage, as seen on a Sayyad armored vehicle during its unveiling in Teheran in 2014. Iran uses a wide variety of one-off camouflages that are usually limited to specific units.
