List of Update 0.271 Changes

 

  • Returned the Contract Mission and Battle Path mission timers to the correct state
  • Abbot: Fixed the reticle appearance
  • Abbot VE: Fixed the reticle appearance
  • Crusader: Increased the reload time within the clip from 2.5s to 3.3s
  • Crusader: Increased the clip reload time within the clip from 10.74s to 12s
  • Palmaria: Fixed the collision model so the vehicle no longer gets stuck in ditches
  • Typhoon-VDV: Firing the autocannon no longer causes the shells to fly beside the reticle
  • Typhoon-VDV: Fixed the vehicle’s passive ability
  • Typhoon-VDV: Fixed the camera angles in first person mode for the missile launcher
  • Typhoon-VDV: Missile launcher now has animated covers
  • VN20: Deployable turret shells are now correctly localized

 

The ArmoredLabs was down for about 10 days as Haswell had to ask the forum's server host to renew the domain.

The previous week's patch(es) accidentally re-introduced "mission stacking" to contract missions, where it is possible to complete daily and weekly missions back to back with no cooldown in between. It has now been reverted so there's a fixed cooldown after you finish a contract mission, regardless of how much time you take to complete it. However, SS says the devs do want to re-introduce this feature in a proper way:

Because that's the intended state. The "return of stacking" was a bug and did not work as intended at least in one instance and god knows what else it broke. Hence the fix. We want to return stacking, but done correctly.

Well, it was fun, while it lasted. Actually felt like processing something again.

Ironic, that they want to reintroduce it as “intended”, since it got removed after 5(?) Battlepaths as an “unintended bug”. :classic_rolleyes:
