Removal of Type 99A2 and 99A2 140

Recommended Posts

It was inevitable.

But here is the question, since technically we pay for a license to own those vehicles (Especially the 99A2 140) which can be subjected to changes at all times. Would it be within the dev/publisher's right to have the players re-purchase the vehicle again after the vehicles are fixed later?

They're only out for a couple days, they'll be right back. Not sure why THIS problem was big enough for disabling the vehicles instead of just marking it as a known bug, but they'll be fixed and back in the game shortly.

I can understand that it would provide a negative experience for people having to face a HE that can roll 2000+ damage every 8 second in pvp/ranked/glops.

But I'm mainly concerned about the possibly have to pay up another hundreds of dollars to reobtain the 99A2 140, the regular 99A2 all you lose was credits and exp (assuming you have to also buy this back).

So, back to one of my questions that everyone kept dancing around:

When will the developers put up the changes on the PTS for us to test before they put it on the live server?

An edit:
From the 0.33.7403 patch notes:

Quote
  • Type 99A2 and Type 99A2-140 HE shells can deal incorrect damage

Also, why did they change the fonts on the AW page?  They are shadowed and it is hard to read.

That's a damn good question - we don't know.  A formatting thing changed somewhere, it was apparently not intentional.
