Qbicle 118 Posted August 11 (edited) Source: https://armoredwarfare.com/en/news/general/update-0550-now-available Quote We are happy to announce that the Update 0.550 is now available! List of Update 0.550 Changes Legendary PvE and Escalation Event A new PvE mode is now available. The Legendary difficulty consists of an overhauled Quarterback map with multiple modifiers. The map’s available in two difficulties and is accompanied by the Escalation Event. You can participate in the Escalation Event simply by winning a single PvE (Legendary) battle during the Escalation event every day. You can read more about both in our dedicated article. Centauro 2 The Centauro 2 Legendary Vehicle is now available. It is a stealthy sniper, designed in the best traditions of the Tank Destroyer class. To unlock it, you need: 10.000 Legendary Blueprints as usual To own the Wilk XC-8 Tier 10 progression Tank Destroyer You can read more about it in our dedicated article. General Changes Force Recon Battle Path chain missions can now be completed on the PvE (Regular) difficulty Fixed an issue where players would sometimes get stuck on a single chapter of the Black Company Special Operation (that is, completing a mission did not allow them to play the next one in the series) Fixed an issue where Leopard 2A7DK’s supercharged APS ability wouldn’t sometimes work correctly (sometimes it failed to intercept incoming projectiles) Added a number of assets for future events Fixed a number of localization issues Undocumented changes and bugs: The introduction of PvE (Legendary) mode also comes with 3 new achievements for the Legendary Quarterback map, as well as 5 new epic medals for the new difficulty in general Type 625E can be found in Global Vehicle Directory aka Encyclopedia, and it's possible to test drive it too This update somehow affects bot composition in some standard PvE missions: there are much fewer enemies spawning in maps such as Life Jacket, Rolling Thunder, and Wages of Sin. This change is not intended. Map rotation got undocumented change from every 6 minutes to 7 minutes instead. Zafir 14 Posted August 12 Guess those missing bots all just having a vacation on Desert Strike and Frostbite then?
Qbicle 118 Posted August 12 4 hours ago, Zafir said: Guess those missing bots all just having a vacation on Desert Strike and Frostbite then? I heard this is also the case in Desert Fox and some Heroics missions. Did the bots rush your team mostly at the beginning, and are not as dramatic later down the mission? Zafir 14 Posted August 12 (edited) Add Perseus and Meltdown to the list. Basically all bots spawn at the start and move towards the players. If your team keeps its head you kill them and then wait through the rest of the mission for timers to run down. It not even autocomplete maps, that previously could be cut short by wiping the opposition completely. It's a mess. Edit: Starry Night, Prometheus, Banshee and Desert Saber also spawn most bots at the start. There was no testing done at all... Fingers crossed the update tomorrow does indeed fix things to a bearable level. Edited August 14 by Zafir (see edit history)
Qbicle 118 Posted August 14 (edited) Let's hope so. Since today's patch is a follow-up to Tuesday's I decide to keep the patch notes in the same thread. Source: https://armoredwarfare.com/en/news/general/update-0551-now-available Quote We are happy to announce that the Update 0.551 is now available! List of Update 0.551 Changes Fixed the AI vehicle behavior in all missions (the “bots not spawning correctly” bug) PvE (Legendary): Epic Medals now work correctly with Mastery Flags and players can obtain them in this mode PvE (Legendary): Fixed an incorrectly appearing line of text in form of a broken achievement at the results screen PvE (Legendary): Fixed the Legendary Elite achievement Type 625E: Vehicle no longer appears directly in the Zhang Feng dealer tree Centauro 2: Inferno round damage now correctly damages external modules such as hard-kill APS Centauro 2: Added a link between Wilk XC-8 and Centauro 2 in the dealer tree Centauro 2: Adjusted the Inferno damage value appearing in the UI to match reality Centauro 2: Adjusted the swapping mechanic between Inferno and the other shells types Fixed an issue where when switching from Legendary Vehicles in your Garage, the next vehicle would sometimes have the incorrect class/description written in the UI Please note that the older Special Operations missions will not be available this weekend. We apologize for the inconvenience. Notes: The Inferno's reload time really is 12s long. SS says it's intended to avoid exploit, presumably quick ammo swap to deal damage and tracking enemy vehicle indefinitely. Despite what is written in patch notes, Inferno still does not deal damage to APS modules. Swapping between normal (APDSFS, HE, and HEAT) and Inferno now takes the full reload time with no quick swapping allowed There's a new loading screen showing Escalation event key art with BMPT and Quarterback's refinery in the background Edited August 14 by Qbicle Loading screen (see edit history)
