Qbicle 118 Posted June 30 Source: https://armoredwarfare.com/en/news/general/summer-gameplay-adjustments Quote With the summer holidays here and warm weather abound, we understand that you may indeed have other interests in mind than simply blowing up targets in Armored Warfare! Therefore, with that in mind, we have decided to temporarily adjust the matchmaking settings to make sure that even during the summer period, playing Armored Warfare stays comfortable to everyone. We are therefore introducing the following changes, starting now: Minimum PvP match size is adjusted from 20 to 14 (10v10 to 7v7) – no worries, Legendary Loot Crate drops are not affected and the Loot Crates will drop from 7v7 matches as well Tier 3 and 4: Only PvE (Standard) difficulty is available Tier 5 and higher: Only PvE (Hardcore) difficulty is available The changes regarding PvE matchmaking were made based on statistics as well as the fact that fact that on Tier 3 and 4 we need to ease new players into PvE a bit. We are also aware of specific situations with some Battle Path missions being limited by this adjustment and will modify them accordingly in the near future. We hope that you’ll enjoy the summer with Armored Warfare because the events, bonuses and gifts are launching this week. SS's replies to comments on official Discord server: Quote Well I can change it to 1-2/3-4 for Easy and expand T5-6 to T5-7, but I do not want to put Wages of Sin and other such missions on Tier 5. That mission is not suitable for those tiers. Same goes for Dawnbreak. Well the change reason is quite obvious - nobody really plays "easy" whenever two modes are available. Initially, I wanted Tier 3-4 to just have Hard and be done with it, but honestly, it's for the best if there's just Easy for lower tiers. From the POV of veterans it makes sense to have just hard, but veterans are just one part of the audience. Hard only will be likely used as "standard" in the future. But not yet. There needs to be something "harder" before "hard" is "standard"
