Recent changes to autocannons ("balance") multiplied issues with red critters, which before were elevated by adding aggressive suicidal waives of Hunters, sphinxes bots etc. ATGM bots firing barrage of rockets with no delays. Officer bots with visual range normal nullify all player camo tactics. Spawning bots which immediately shot at player. How enjoyable.
  2. Draco is what it used to be before balance 2.0, another changes revert AC nerfs from balance 3.0. Stalker became playable with AC. Marder, AGDS and T40 got some former "feel" of superpower.
  3. @sdt16How hardcore AW battle path is the matter of individual approach. If you play smart and without the goal to finish the BP entirely in 1/2 or 1/3 of allocated time, BP is not hardcore at all. So if you begin BP challenges 1.5-2 months after whole BP started, you have almost all challenges unlocked and 8 of 10 of said challenges are easy, so playing that way requires less time and you have higher gain. Each challenge gives you 10 points (1 point per stage) to progress equipment in BP vehicles, same points come from each stage of standard missions and from each opening levels. Also, I was lazy to unlock whole equipment within one BP, instead I just waited for next BP to continue progression and easily complete it. Up to 60-80 points should be very easy to get per one BP, above that value requires grind.
  4. I guess the push to change had to come from PRC. Nothing else should surprise you since every truly new tank model should be premium, at least tier 5, or monetized skin like realistic Leo 2A7 (to tier 9 Leo2A6).
  5. In this BP i suggest to focus entirely on buying offers in shop. Derivatsya is fine vehicle worth getting, and a player should assemble it in cheap way using most attractive daily offers - rare unique and special (got mine already after less than 1h rotation). T72CZ (based on my test drive impressions) is vehicle for inadequate price of 140K coins (50K is rank 20, and 20 next ones are 90K for rank 40). to For lesser amount of coins spent in shop a player should able to get - either 1 tier 10, 2 tier 9 or several tiers 7/8. If one decides to spend whole pool of 140K on rotations alone would give a chance to return some coins and maybe find truly attractive offers. TR-85M1 - collector thing, rather not so great impressions from test drive. (my plan to get it in this BP). As for this BP main prize, the possible strategy is to ignore T-15/K, and assume it will be obtainable in coin shop in one of next BPs. This shit can be attractive now because of Draco style DPM on steroids, I know how it works and where it ends. Got Chally 1 ODS skin, because i wanted it.

  8. I see many "premium offer" gaps in vehicles classes and now not all vendors got fair treatment. Each vendor should have its own premium tier 10 per each class. This should boost both the sale of premium tanks and the production of new ones. That is only reason imo how they justified this change.
  9. Most of these things went away in 2017 as part of balance 2.0 (0.19). I may mistake but cupolas as a weakspot was charged even earlier (in 0.14 or 0.15) by applying reduced damage rule to them. Rationale is simple - player can hide LFP and cannot cupola. Cupolas are WoT thing, which makes bunch of tanks vulnerable simply based on this trait alone, in AW even before balance 2.0 the damage was reduced to them (mostly), and in 2021 for more than 1.5y AW there is a new balance 3.0 with whole LFP thing (unless you play low tiers where that thing came just recently).
  10. What about the feedback that the top reward T15 is not worth effort even with rank 50 and nevertheless they push it on rank 60. Expect Samurai/Desert Storm/Jomsviking skins spam prevail in shop daily offers. Looks like some confirmation to my personal thought that Asad Babil was most interesting and worthy skin from that raid. (As per desert camo preview) it looks decent and useful compared to every BP camo released since Black Eagle event, but on other side it is very much alike to what you can purchase with gold. Well BP starts in first days of December to make that 120 days till end of March, 2022, right ? This 120 days of BP doesn't make it better, actually it is very boring and exhausting.
  11. Need wait for rules of coin shop, progression and rank prices to be sure. Using last BP rules two vehicles are seem to be super easy picks with minimal effort. In broader context, all recent BP top rewards were doable to get within 1-1.5 month of playing.

  13. So TR-85M1remains to be announced. Either as rank 40 (tier 8,9 hmm) or rank 20 (historically tier 4 or 5)
  14. This next BP can be a breeze a first time for me. T-15/57 is so lowest priority and non-importance to me. If 72M4 is on rank 40, then it is totally flop and no go, if it would be a sink for pieces in shop - doubtful I spend coins on it. Which means i have high chance I stop on rank 30 without issues. So i assume, If TR-85M1 is first tank to pick on BP rank 30 and Derivacya is shop-based piece basis, it is perfect awesome deal. Derivacya is fine and unique vehicle too. I like TR-85M1, at least with some footages it gives a deceiving impression of pretty modern, cool looking, agile tank (as for extensive T55 mod).
  15. This campaign could work better if individual effort and choices had direct result to personal rewards. Active players do whole heavy lifting, but in the end it what is matter are sheer numbers of inexperienced, semi-dead participants from buy-ins. What is always important to player are his rewards, and instead here we play a sort of communist roulette. Yeah, whole drama of story could be still driven by all "choices", but who cares.
  16. Previous raids had this difference that you could some specific reward, such as bp coins, boosters. Now nodes have a mostly camo/skin fragments -- not all of them bad, but doing raid puts you to two choices - either you plan do unlock all nodes, or you skip this raid entirely. To me filling the map with fragments of camos is pretty bad design. EDIT: I just noticed that node reward also can 1 part of some premium tank, i see CATTB, 2 places with 490 etc. Well, probably useful for people with ~90-99 parts.

There are some over-progression modules and abilities, special retrofits (unlockable on tier 9 leclerc and ttb ) Battle Path is almost substitute of progression grind, but way more rewarding. What about commanders leveling to colonels? Not sure if you done it, but it is more massive in effort than progression vehicle grind.
  18. I think no matter how strong new black is going to be, the surface of t2017 is covered by rust areas which blends with paint. The new skin seems to provide more oil plastic look, still i suppose a player should use dirt remover to truly admire that pure blackness.
  19. Here is where lore-based, narrow-minded rule meets my in-game experience. By playing tier 8/9 I keep seeing 3 GLOPS maps - Narrows, Ghostfield and Roughneck (23 matches so far it was one time Barren, another one is Waterway). They all either forest or winter ones. Not a single time it was desert style map.

The answer is 75
  21. Well if SS and Co plan for greater participation, they should not throw such requirements on verge of BP ending time when players are rather exhausted and burnt out. Even current event for M69A3 SLEP is like 23 total matches/missions played over 25 days is much more relaxing and you actually know what are goals and rewards are in reach. Player has UI tracker to support and simple rules. When i read Episode 1 intro, somewhat I felt that it is the end because the timing was wrong and requirements were pretty steep. A lot of filler lines of texts to read through just to find one number (vehicles to kill), I am not saying that 3-4 missions daily is a lot. And I rather think now that community could have better chances with tier 10 prems. When you locked to some tier 8, well at least two vehicles are prems (t72b3 and t2017) so it makes some sense to play them and it all felt to me as "forced" playing, no fun despite RU vehicles are very capable in game.
  22. The game needs to introduce new mid and long term goals (individual and group ones), so it could better engage and motivate players to play the game. For now annual events/contracts/BP/Raid are quite repetitive and boring in their mechanics and nothing seems to change in this scope. Tier 1-3 PvE was dumbed down several years ago with balance 2.0 introduction and further simplification. Tier 4-6 PvE is not in healthy shape either and i have very low expectations they can make the vehicle balance in pve right (and devs never pursued such goal). What once used to be adequate gameplay on low-mid became most silly, trashed version of its own past. True and satisfactory CATTB re-balance is never late, except I heard these promises several times already.
  23. Saw tier QN, Hunter, VT, ZTQ, Oplot, Altay and AFT. But tier 10 came up just once, and most valuable of tier 9 just once (Oplot, ZTQ). Commander - Seagrove only. I was continuously rolling two times this BP - 4 and 2 hours.
