Look guys, I'm not jinxing, but I can't see a bright future of this game, especially when they are running by Whishlist Games these days.
Here are some of the points I've thought about which are really annoying me:
1. Crypted localization files, which simply make players from all over the world can't easily make various localization files like before. Personally, I think this is a really stupid move.
2. It seems they define themselves as "EU server", why isn't "Global server"?? Now the RU server and so-called "EU Server" are actually one server, and China got another server, so where are the other servers, like American server, Asian server, Pacific server, or African server?
3. In the newest SpecOP, Parel and Woody's subtitles are wrong, and it is not fixed even after the first release of it.
4. The game lacks of mass-produced vehicles, they added so many prototype or real-life experimental vehicles which are not familiar by most of the players. BMP-1AM, BTR-82A, T-64BVs, T-90M and recent Olifant Mk.2 mean a good start, but players are eager to see and play more.
The first one is really annoying me the most. What will it do wrong if they let it unlocked? What will an international launcher and multiple localization support harm their company? Really, Whishlist Games are doing stuffs against the flow. Those game companies will either try to get multiple languages support, or they will simply welcome players to contribute games' localization. But Whishlist Games is simply not one of them.
I don't think what they do can make this game vivid, maybe we should seriously think about fans' server right now. I believe if we players run this game, and in the meantime, we listen to players' voice, this game will beat WoT on player numbers, no doubt, Obsidian Entertainment did make a fantastic game.
