Joining basically to watch for when the audio mods can handle AW's latest downgrade and I can listen to glorious hose of death from M48 GAU again.

I know some people on here and some people on here know me (and are probably yelling at their screens "WHO LET THIS JACKASS IN??!!"

I shall endeavor to behave whilst on these premises and will refrain from discussing *********'s total lack of personal hygiene.

I play mostly weekends with 1-2 evenings a week. I 'm in EST time zone, GMT -4 or -5 depending on daylight savings time.

Personally, I'm a Critical Care RN heading for retirement in a couple of years...I'm an old fart. Looking forward to meeting folks in game where my handle is "Kokopelli". 

I was researching the difference between "Enemies Killed" and "Enemies Eliminated". I stumbled upon this forum. I came from WOT & then WoWs (World of Warships). Life is too short to worry players giving you grief for this and that game play. I have been a Alpha & Beta player. I still enjoy AW even with its warts and all. Take care! 😁

Finally, remember that we all play for fun. Some of us just prefer that we have our fun at the expense of the enemy team.

I'm returning to the game after a few years absence. I started during the alpha, and stopped playing around the time the servers were merged & the forum was deleted. The game seemed to be headed in a bad direction back then, but I thought I'd reinstall and give it a shot again, and the PvE is still as fun as it used to be.

I'm quite glad to find this site (found the link on the AW reddit page), as the AW Discord is pretty much useless, in my opinion. I see there's not a lot of traffic here, but there are lots of good guides & info posted, and I appreciate having that available as I get used to all the changes since I last played.

Im JDBC567. I like tanks.

I just started playing AW today and would like to get to know the game better.

Any suggestions for good starter tanks?

Im a fairly experianced world of tanks(pc and blitz) player so are the core mechanics in AW similar?

Oh and i almost forgot...do some shells cost more than other ones? Like premium shells or something?

If you are recruiting and don't mind a cranky old man who does enjoy adult beverages from time to time and is still somewhat trainable, who do I need to chat with?

To new players just starting out (always heartening to see tagless folks driving T1 and T2s out there)... Stick to it. There are definitely peaks and valleys. Map knowledge will come eventually no matter how foggy it seems at first. There are plenty of great players out in the community willing to help, and this forum is a terrific way to learn new aspects of the game from folks who have been there, done that, and then compiled statistics on it. It's the support from the community that will keep you from burning out.

There's a reason why my warmest and most memorable moments in this game are not from epic kills or caps, but from freeing stuck and trapped fellow players.

I am here to learn and become a better player. I will put in the work to do so . I want to become the team member that other members know I got their back. I want to be able to be aggressive in  battle and not get left with no support. Tired of running lone wolf. By belonging to the battalion I know at the time of battle my brothers and sisters are there for me as I am for them to punish those that oppose us and to lift in victory our name.

Like most I played the "other tank game" for many years and the aircraft game that turning into "other tank game" among other things.

I bought into AW early on and played for a bit at release than stopped at some point and forgot about the game until recently. These days I find myself as PvE player in most games I play and have enjoyed my time greatly since returning a couple months ago. I was disappointed to see that there was no forum for AW anymore and they had move to Discord (which imo cannot fulfil the same role as a good forum). I am quite happy to have found this forum and have started diving into the guides (which there is a major lack of anywhere else) and have learned a few things already.

I look forward to meeting people on the battlefield!

Whilst going through All tanks from lvl 1 to 10

I am up to lvl 6 at the mo... Long Process

However Noticed a few ammo issues , Graphics... Banners etc

I have given up mention any thing to support, Turrets looking rusty etc
