Source: https://armoredwarfare.com/en/news/general/development-xk3 Dev responses on official Discord server: When asked about this particular tank, Maciek states it's a K2 upgrade proposal that is named K3 for marketing sake and not related to the Next-Generation Main Battle Tank that will appear as XK3 in AW. Some people state that there's a large difference between AW's proposed mass of 35t vs "less than 55t" as seen on the spec sheet. SS replied "Maybe the 35 is a mistake, let me check". The top-attack missile choice is "to make things interesting". There is no plan to retrofit the Ambush Mode ability to the PL-01 or the CV90120 Ghost. It's probably too late to add RWS to the tank as a functional weapon or just a static decoration. The XK3's iteration in AW is akin to an export version adapted to the needs of the customer, hence the lack of autocannon RWS by design choice. "Note how the original does not have a coax and our does for example." There will be an official XK3 naming contest, but it's not available yet as of this article's publishing date.

  4. Not sure if it is an PvE vehicle either. If the “decoy turret” isn't a brutal HP sponge, I don't even see that as a situational gimmick. 100 mm HE + 1 single tube missile at T10? Everyone is plastered in 2 layers of ERA and at least 1 APS. We don't have Urban anti insurgency or dislodging infantry from makeshift fortifications in the game. So don't bother until you unlock the 30 mm with 2x adv. Red Arrows ?

  6. Hi, so I decided to fix some stuff that might be fixed by the devs at some point but I made it earlier. They might use it who knows.. So first of them is camo scale on BTR-82A which is messed in the game so here is a my solution to this problem.   9. The main aspect that should not be missed (over and over again) is to implement different engine sounds where they are different: gasoline / diesel, diesel / gas turbine, so that when the engine is changed back and forth, and the sounds change for this engine.

Source: https://armoredwarfare.com/en/news/general/update-0220-now-available The BMP-1's change basically makes the stock weapon limited to 73mm gun and MG ammos only, and the ATGM ammo upgrade is now a weapon upgrade that includes ATGM as usable ammo. This means the stock weapon is now selected by default, and everyone has to manually select the "Malyutka" ATGM again in order to use it in battle.

I am quiet dissapointed by this whole update we waited almost two years for the T-80BVM and what did we got? a bugged and complete unecessary requirement to unlock the vehicle. 1.5 Million damage is quiet a lot but also not impossible to do when you playing 10x PVE missions per day. But in the other hand there are still players out there who focusing mainly on PVP. Now imagine you are a PVP player and it will take you a long while to get the requiered 1.5 Million damage. Personally i found this whole requirement/challenge very unecessary cause again we waited almost two years for this tank get introduced to the game. Speaking by two years of development a thing which i also noticed is how bad the actual model of the T-80BVM turned out. The hull looks pretty unproportional and it reminds me a lot of the older model of the T-80U and i also put two pictures for a direct comparison. Enough said about the T-80 now let´s talk about the new contract for the T-64BV Obr. 2017. Where the vehicle was first announced i was quiet happy to see a new and overhauled model of the T-64. But when devs mentionend it gonna be a Tier 7 premium i was thinking why not on tier 6? The tank would fit much better on tier 6 together with the T-72B and the T-80B cause those tanks was roughly produced in the same time. Sure the T-64BV was modernized back in 2017 with new thermals etc. but i am talking specifically about the basic vehicle itself. In my opinion the T-64 Bulat would fit much better on tier 7 as the BV 2017 version. Not to mention the Bulat got a similair armor layout as the T-80U but based on a T-64 hull. But besides all my critique i hope the devs will at least fix,rework or completely remove the requirment cause like many others i really want play the T-80BVM.

  15. Source: https://armoredwarfare.com/en/news/general/update-0205-now-available T-80BVM made it to the game just under a year after T-80UM-1 did in early October 2023. T-80BVM's unlock requirement is to deal 1,500,000 damage using the T-80UM-1. The progress is not retroactive. However, for some reason damage caused to vehicles that are spotted by other team members, as well as those caused to tracked vehicles do not count to the damage progress. It is not possible to unlock the T-80BVM with the unlock token despite its presence on the garage UI. There is a UI issue not properly showing T-80BVM's unlock progress. Although Fullscreen is now removed from the game, the settings now refer Borderless Window as "Fullscreen"

For Hard PvE + SO", which means the damage requirement should be around 1.5 million damage, but we won't know for sure until the update arrives.

  22. I'm not sure, but I guess, i saw the red color changed to blue in the game, maybe is save.dds problem?
  23. unfortunately doesn't seem to work, tried deleting all the PublicParam settings in the .mtl (other than the hull which i already did to get the right UV orientation) and nothing's changed
  24. back again for another issue AW has cursed upon me something i noticed with the M41 that i *thought* i fixed seems to also happen with every skin i do: whenever i add a layer to the .dds, add a color, etc. the colors go all inverted and i have to fiddle with hue, saturation, etc. in order to get it somewhat resembling right, so i was wondering if i did something wrong or if there's an easier way to fix this (also, the colors are all fine and look right before i edit anything as seen with the cannon)
  25. thanks, and yeah i will upscale the skin resolution in the future (might actually return to redo the M41 since now that i look back at it, it could be a lot better)
